Just read in Rolling Stone that Jim says this is just a warm up tour cuz they haven't toured in awhile. Jim promises a much more extended tour in the fall. I'm glad cuz these warm up dates are crap

Pretty sure it is.

T5Wizard posted a part of the article,(might've been the whole thing, idk) in the "Fall Tour?" thread, end of page 1, a few threads down.
"Where's Jim going?"

fortbethel

Yes it's the issue with that Harlem disco queen on the cover. Very short mention. Less than 25 words & I forgot to note what page.

Good grief! ;D Waiting on more tour dates is hectic, like waiting on the release of Circuital!!!
The time is near, to come forward with whatever killed your spark.

with the economy & gas prices you have to see it from the band's point of view. I live in Phoenix, Az. If there were two Cali shows close together like MMJ have done in the past usually Diego then LA. It makes the drive for fans coming in out of state more realistic. I found it so strange that they skipped both Vegas & AZ. These new warm up tours must be a new trend

God damn those shaky knees.

Mountain Park, Holyoke MA was pretty nice last summer...It would be even nicer with the turning leaves.

I would also think they are due for a New Years show....

Agreed, I love the idea of a northeast fall foliage tour. I was at Mountain Park last year too, it would be cool to see them there again. The band seemed really into it, Jim complimented the scene a number of times that night.
his arms were thin, and off into the night they ran

I was bummed I had to give away my ticket to the Holyoke show last summer, so I'd love another opportunity to catch 'em there.  Curious, too, as to what size venues will be added; are they going to keep it to smaller venues (2000 to 3000) or some larger arenas (5000 to 10000+)?  They can pull it off at home (KFC Yum) and in NYC, I imagine.  Not sure about other regions.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

if this record does shoot them into the stratosphere like i think it will.. i dont think it would be too modest to say they'll be shooting for all venues 5,000-10,000.. especially after an epic summer of festival appearances

So...If you had a chance to get MMJ ticket in a 2600 seat theater, you would pass because the show is a warm up show and it would be crap? Google rationalization. Because I think they ain't playing in your area.

Please Columbia, MD or Charlottesville again. PLEASE. Lexington is just too far.
Sometimes when I get in my zone, you'd think I was stoned, but I never as they say, touched the stuf

I was wondering if they will be looking to fill bigger venues too - I LOVED the Mountain Park show - not only was it a great show, but it is 15 minutes from my house!  I would be very happy if they played there again!  :D
