Im waiting for my blue vinyl.

Where did you get it in black?
I honestly don't recall where I got the black AC vinyl.  Probably eBay.  Mine came with a CD as well.

the blue one sounds great! By My Car is one of the best songs on there. I'm glad I got this.

I'd like to see if I could find a black copy somewhere. I saw one on ebay but it was a little too much.

So, Best Buy dot com has been running an incredible vinyl promotion.  Problem is, it has been very difficult to catch a deal.  Things that were backordered last night at a reduced price are available this morning.  Prices have been fluctuating daily, etc.  However, everything is free shipping, and I came across this.  While not on sale, it is available, and looks to still be an incredible price over what is listed on Amazon.

Thanks for posting that Best Buy link.  Just before I saw your post, I was reading an email from Newbury Comics, apologizing to me.  They had posted the blue MoF vinyl on eBay for $30 and, after I purchased it, they refunded the money and said it could not be located in their inventory.  I won't be surprised if something similar happens, but really appreciate another shot at this. The timing of your post is remarkable!

As I was browsing bestbuy for vinyl, I noticed that many albums had OGV after the title. Any ideas on what this means?

I found these, but none seem to fit.  I was wondering the same thing.

Acronym Definition
OGV Ogg Video (file extension)
OGV Ocean Going Vessel (shipping)
OGV Outlet Guide Vane (gas turbines)
OgV Old Gaming Veterans
OGV Other Goods Vehicle (UK)
OGV Oocyte with Germinal Vesicle (histology)

Any other ideas?  I'll start:

Obviously Great Vinyl
Old Grandpa Version
Ovaries Get Visited
Obama Greets Visitors
Oklahoma Gained Vision

Hey, that is what I do!!

As far as the (OGV), I believe it means the 180g copy.  That is what research has provided me, although Best Buy seems to be the only vendor that does that.  I did pick up Bob Marley's Legend for $6.99.  It seems heavy, but not as heavy as my copy of Paul's Boutique.  Of course, nothing is heavier than Paul's Boutique, so that is not surprising.  There was ample confusion my part, as far as if it is indeed the 2009 copy.  That was not listed anywhere on the jacket/album, and it only had 14 songs on it, as opposed to the 16.  Also, there was no 28 page booklet.  Not sure if all of that was supposed to be on the 2009 vinyl copy or not...I also ordered Axis: Bold as Love, which will be here today, and Eagle's Greatest Hits.  We will see...

the one you linked to had already ended, but i went to check just for the hell of it and there was another one ending in 5 minutes.  didn't really plan on buying any vinyl for a little while but that was too good to pass up.
some get stoned, some get strange, sooner or later it all gets real.

So I received my Run Thru vinyl today and I just wanted to make sure I didn't get a defected copy. Neither side has a track listing. They just have side A and side B. Normal?

I just picked up the tennessee fire from a record store in NYC and to my surprise, the vinyl is multi colored! Disc one is red and the second is yellow. So dope.

but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

I forget the name of the store. It is right next to the W4th Subway station. There are two around the corner from each other. And this one did not say "Rare and Old Records." Not sure if that helps. Also there is a real fat kitty in this one.

I believe this was the only Tennessee Fire they had but who knows if they had  more in the back. I will swing by after work.

headhunter

sounds like it is either Bleeker Bobs  at 118 West 3rd St
or
Bleecker St. Records at 239 Bleecker Street.

Bleecker St Records in particular has a HUGE selection of new vinyl reasonably priced.

One of my favorite nyc record shops, they also own Generation Records nearby on Thompson Street.
was some shakin' and some record playin'
