If any of the shows fall within Oct 9th - 17th I'm screwed (wedding/honeymoon) >:(

Funny... I missed T5 because my son was born... I'll always resent him for that ;) haha

yea we missed t5 bc we planned a vacation that week way in advance and we couldn't get out of it.

Funny I'd say she is trying to sabotage my relationship with the band but she is a bigger fan of theirs out of any women I know personally. When I told her it was a possibility the fall tour might be round that time she said "we'll have to make it work somehow." I guess I'll keep her around

Big sky that thought has crossed my mind many atime

Thats cool!! My wife has grown into a true fan now as well.  It makes the shows that much better when she is singin along and dancin and not wondering when its over.  She even let us walk into our reception at our wedding to "When You Wish Upon A Star"(from intro at Bonnaroo '06) and then into "Off the Record"

I'm thinking they'll add a couple more northeast dates either right before or after that Kahbang festival. It just seems like they'll tour relentlessly this summer and into the fall.

anbody "in the know" got any knowledge to drop on us?

i've been holding off on my summer and early fall plans, in the hopes that I can swing over to a few shows.

I'm looking forward to knowing if/when they will release some more dates....
Miami please

An advertisement in the Detroit News Entertainment section today listing all the shows for the summer at pine knob Meadowbrook and the Palace of Auburn Hills had listed My Morning Jacket at Meadowbrook date to be announced. Can't wait the last time My morning Jacket was at Meadowbrook was opening for Wilco and it was an excellent show.

I would think they would hit some east coast outdoor venues in Aug, then come back for theaters in the fall.

Expecting:

Festival Pier in Philly
Williamsberg Waterfront in Brooklyn
Bank of America Pavillion in Boston

Better get Charlottesville, Columbia or Wolftrap....

...or i'll cry

I'm wondering if that's the best choice for a New England date.  I saw my first show there and would prefer a better venue, without knowing for sure where that might be.  It is outdoors, though, and it isn't Tweeter Center (or whatever the f--k they call it now) in Mansfield.  I'd love some Granite state dates, say the Verizon Center in Manchester or the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, but I doubt it.  I wonder, too, what size/capacity they'll shoot for and expect to fill.  Sure would like to start planning soon, though.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Agreed 100%. It's not a terrible venue but I am hoping that they play elsewhere. I could definitely forgo the Boston venues which I find not wholly enjoyable and would prefer the extra mileage up to NH as those venues appear to be a whole lot more accomodating by the looks and reveiws I've seen and heard...and don't even get me started with Comcast formally Tweeter formally Great Woods, no thanks.

I like the location of the Bank of America Pavillion in Boston, but the acoustic were bad and the seating is too flat...

I would love a little Hartford, CT action at the Meadows, but Mt. Holyoke was killer last year

Hey local crew....

I'd be psyched for a Bank of america pavilion... what venue would you prefer?  House of Blues? ughh.... Orpheum?

BoA Pavilion does have a poor slope, hurting sitelines, but if us Roll Callers are up front, so what?   I've seen shows from the front sections before (incl MMJ in 08) and loved it.

Does anyone think an appearance at the pj20 event on labor day at Alpine Valley is a possibility?

e_wind

I think its a definite possibility. How many bands can say they've played on Pearl Jam's DVD's? PJ said they're going to invite their friends. How much information do you know about that so far? As far as rumours go is it still Labor Day Weekend in Alpine Valley?
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

wpgmmj

They are definitely @ Alpine on Labor Day. Mike McCready pretty much confirmed it, as well as some stagehands from Alpine have stated PJ will be there over Labor Day. Whether this concert is the pj20 event though is still left to be answered. Some think it could be Toronto where they will be debuting their new documentary at the Toronto Film Fest the following weekend.
