Did the Riv show.  Not one of my favorite performances, despite a nice reworking of "Reservations".  Also, always nice to get "Bull Black Nova" and "Spiders (Kidsmoke) in the same setlist.

Wish I'd been paying attention enough to get tickets for the Lincoln Hall show, but Wilco has kind of fallen off my radar of late.  Still, they put on a good show and continue to fire on all cylinders.

I've got  three shows in January (Tempe, San Diego, and LA Theatre) and I'm hoping some of the nuggets and vibes of this impressive Chicago run will spill over into next month!  Now those are the kinds of setlists I'd like to see from Wilco on a more regular basis!

Yeah, I think I prefer the Vic setlist to the Riv setlist. And Lincoln Hall. Damn. Still wondering why I didn't even consider any of the Chicago shows. I guess 7x in 8 months is probably enough, huh?  :P
God sure baked a lot of fruitcake, baby.

Yes what a bummer... they are going to play a show at Mass MOCA this summer but that's still not SS..   :'(

6/21-23 2013  see ya there!

Bummer.  I finally realized Wilco's greatness just after this past summer and looked forward to what I thought was an annual event.

Lookin' forward to seeing them on 2/1.  I still cannot believe I've not been to a proper Wilco show (have seem them and Jeff Tweedy solo at Bridge School tho').

My (now) husband saw Wilco, Son Volt and Uncle Tupelo CDs in my cubicle one night after I'd left work for the day in 1997 (he was a courier picking up docs in my office), asked a coworker "who sits here?  Whoever it is has good taste in music!" And told her he had to meet me.  The rest, as they say, is history.

Awww.  Great story!  It seems you both have excellent tastes.

Hey, what happened to you two at NYC.  We never crossed paths.  :(

We were only in NYC for a day - we weren't able to make it to the preparty though we both wished we could have been there!  Man, what a show!

Awwww!  Great story.  I've had...a number of Wilco/Son Volt/Tupelo exes (living here stacks the odds on that a bit  ;)).  Something about 'em must bring people together.  Glad yours stuck!  ;D

Thanks for sharing! I wish I had enough money to be that into rigs, but I'll stick with my Martin D-28.  ;)

P.S. Yac, this thread should be called Wilco: The Thread. For obvious reasons.

Happy to change it, but the reasons are not obvious to me.  Enlighten me.
