Just curious, I have an account set up with tm.  When I purchase tickets I don't have to select a card because mine is on file.  Did anyone have a problem using this method?

I feel so sorry for you guys,  I would be sick to my stomach right now.

I too feel like this may have been a tm inside job.  I'm no web expert but wouldn't you have to go in and actually edit the web page for those options not to be there?
Y'all got any disco ball back there?

It didn't matter.  I was logged in under my account and have been buying tickets for years.  The only payment option that showed up was the citi cards.

I agree that it is a bummer that tm screwed up. But did anyone really think they could play an album release party in their hometown in a venue with a capacity of 2700 and NOT have people disappointed? I have said this before to people, ticket buying is like musical chairs when we were kids. If 11 people try for 10 seats 10 people are happy and only one is disappointed. But if 8000 people try for 2700 seats, not so many happy people. And will call or paperless or making people stand on their heads isn't going to change that basic fact.

But in this case, the person providing the chairs moved one out from under a 7 year old girl at the last second and stuck it under the big fat ass of her pervert Uncle Charlie.

I miss the pre internet days!! Street scalpers were the only choice.  Guys like DIMONE from Fast Times at Ridgemont High don't exist anymore...its too bad.

Welcome to the USA, INC i guess.

I am very sorry for those who didn't get a ticket.  I am only telling my story for future ticket sales...I was able to get one by using my LiveNation app on my iphone.  It had my card info saved and I was able to buy a ticket with no problem and I don't have a citiVisa card. This might be of some help in the future, but I know it doesn't help for this case.

Yeah had my tickets ready to buy down on the floor literally one minute after they went on sale and the citi bank only thing happened and i ended up in the balcony, awesome. Oh well, still gonna be an unreal show.

So, does anybody know if the show is officially sold-out?  I tried to search for tickets several times today and had no results--not even singles.

No show on ticketmaster is ever "officially" sold-out.  They always release more tickets as the show gets closer.  Just gotta keep trying.

I wish they would just go back to buying tickets at the venue.  Camping out for tickets was fun.  :D

Why does the band go though ticketmaster?? I don't understand.  I work and manage a venue here in Durango Colorado and we get ALL of our tickets through www.holdmyticket.com - sadly, it's not the bands choice (although it should be) what ticket agency they work with...it's the promoters choice.  Obviously, these promoters have contracts with ticketmaster.

Well, I propose MMJ do it all from the inside...they don't need to work with AEG or Goldenvoice - they'll sell out any show with or with out them.  They should print their own tickets and send them and sell them to fans whatever way they please because THIS SHIT is ridiculous.

God damn those shaky knees.

I miss camping out for tickets. Sometimes those nights would be as memorable as the concert itself. The interweb sure has messed up as many things as it's helped.
Why does my mind blow to bits everytime they play that song?

hmm, not sure.  I always thought it was the whole Clear Channel/Ticketmaster/Livenation monopoly thing that made that system work.  Is your venue small?  It seems like all the smaller theaters have been bought out.  The State Theater here in detroit is now part of the Filmore franchise.   same thing happened with Pine Knob, it's now DTE.  big money in advertising and all that.   The bigger the venue gets the more corporate bullshit you have to deal with.   Didn't Pearl Jam cancel a tour in the early 90's to boycott ticketmaster?  I'm sick of getting butt fucked by these middle man companies standing between the fans and the music.   MMJ needs big venues now to house us apes so I think we're temporarily screwed.

I thought CC said that they will now exclusively use artist arena. Or at least roll call will :)
