I have to GA tix to this Santa Barbara gig, need to get rid of them.  I'd like to trade for two tix to the LA show if possible.  If anybody is interested, drop me a PM.  :dankk2:

Any suggestions for a good pub on State St? Planning on getting there in the afternoon and hanging out until the show starts. Really looking forward to the show now, even if the venue is expected to be rather empty.

Park somewhere around State and Anapamu. It is also known as State and A. There is a cheap parking garage within a block. Walk towards the beach on State Street. In a matter of 10 blocks, you will see dozens of eatery/drinkery spots. As to what is good, it all depends on food preference and ambiance. You will have NO problem not having a pre-chosen destination. (pay attention to the double negatives)

I got the go ahead from the wife to go to this if I want, but can't rally anyone to go with me (wife will be home watching the baby, buddies out of town).  Is anyone driving up from San Diego looking for a partner in crime?  Got gas money & something for you head

If PITT tix are not officially sold out by now it looks like this will be the first and the last show at The Bowl.  :(

No Doulble Encore and fireworks as well.

The bright side is that the weather should be pretty nice.

They don't seem to be the type of guys that would punish the ones who show up because of ones who did not show up. Maybe they will give a little extra to make a point.

Im also flying solo to this show, but Im driving from the I.E ( Fontana). I have a pit ticket, and plan to arrive as early as I can to get first dips to be as close to the stage as possible.

Good Morning POOPERDUNKELS

My 3 Realistic Song Requests are:

1) PHONE WENT WEST
2) O IS THE ONE THAT IS REAL
3) DONDANTE

I hope they don't skip out on Highly Suspicious again tonight. (like LA)

If I get these half of songs then there's no need for me to travel to Red Rocks.

Reverend ToneZone

I will glady take 1, 2 , and 3 on your list for tonight!

If I went my entire life without hearing Highly Suspicious again I wouldn't shed a single tear though.
None of this is physical . . . at least not to me.

Totally agree rincon.

I was at the St. Augustine Fl. show last year and even though it's a small amp (maybe 3,000), it wasn't close to sold out. The guys rocked our asses off and gave us a helluva show.

Same deal at the Essex Jct. Vt. show too.

I'm betting on a killer show and setlist for you guys tonight.

Have a blast.

Just don't want this night to end, so im on the message boards after a show. Electrifying! floor...very front row...just a smidgen to the right of the mic. That says it all.  met some nice people who came all the way from Tuscon. Great set list. Oh, and I'm so glad I'm not the only one who wears ponchos and capes. He he.. Best night ever!  :D

Wow... All I can say is wow... First show, and it was amazing. Had a great view from the pit, about 3rd row dead center. Everyone around me was giving off good vibes. Incredible! Can't wait to do it again.

Awesome night! Great show, great setlist, great crowd and what an absolutely amazing venue. I really enjoyed the balance of this show's songs between new and old. Things flowed really well last night. My bro was pretty pumped and it was pretty great watching him dig in at his first show. It seemed the guys seemed really stoked to be there too. Cool banter on the space station and Gram Parsons. Thought it was pretty funny when everyone got faked out by the plane, and the space station showed up a minute or so later. All in all this will go down as one of my favorite shows. Cheers guys! See ya on the East Coast! :coffee:

The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Was there no opener for this show?
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.
