Stayed here last year and as Eric says, its just a 10 minute walk to MP.

Merriweather Post 2010 was one of the best nights of the year (along w Philadelphia and all 5 at T5).  How early can we start the tailgate party?

Well I plan on starting as soon as I hit the Sheraton! ;) I'm hoping they let us check in a bit early. If not,I'll either be at the bar or having a cold one in their parking lot.

First Red Rocks then this--I'm taking Friday off so will be in full gear ready to riot

I will also take off Friday and plan to head down early?  We may have to get our selves a convoy!  Looks like August will be a nice month for road trips.

I'm also giving some serious thought to the following Saturday show in Alpharetta Ga. Quick flight in/out of Atlanta, and home at a decent time Sunday.

convoy!!! fun times....
we will be heading down hopefully on the early side and be able to do some serious tailgating :)  that lot was great last year, and we hung there for hours, and met so many of the forum folks for the first time there!  so great!

we can't remember if we stayed in a hilton? or hyatt? it was over on the water....who remembers??? the bar was closed when we got back, but we had some domino's delivered and ate it by the riverwalk with fiddle, liz, lil sis, mahgeetah, sean riley....so great!
oh and jd bartender put on a killer tailgate with his white tent, bbq grill, and whole party set up!
we are psyched!!

we can take the Bolt or Megabus from Baltimore to Boston, too (and back early Mon AM)

Wouldn't it be MPP >> Boston?  8 hour drive, tho.

Manchester, NH to Baltimore on the 12th for $70 (one way via Southwest) not bad... hmmmmmm.  Return on the 14th for another $70, just in time for Boston.  Hmmmmmmmmmm.
