How does the roll call will call work out?  What do we bring to claim tix?

All I did was show up at the box office with a photo ID at Merriweather.  They even printed all six of my tix together consolidated under one credit card number I guess.

Cool thanks. Is there really a separate line fit it?

I'm sure every venue is different and I went 4 hours before the show so nobody was there.  There was not a separate line.

My only Roll Call experience thus far was Montreal.  I had my email printed out, my Roll Call membership card, -HELL- even my passport, but they just wanted my photo ID/license.  The Boston RC email says bring your print-out, so better safe than sorry.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Bumping this as we get closer!  I feel like a kid with Christmas coming up.  Can't wait for the show, and PLEASE play Steam Engine!!!!!  Haven't had the experience of hearing this one live, i've only seen them twice though.

The Uptown Music Factory area is a pretty cool spot. There are several places to eat and drink there. The Saloon is pretty good, and there's even an old-timey diner. My suggestion would be VBGB. It's a beer garden, and they have good food there as well. Plus if you get there early enough, there's a huge adjacent back patio where you'll be able to hear the soundcheck.

Parking is free and ample and there are tons of spots in the three lots to tailgate. Here's the Web site of it all:

I need one extra pit ticket for Charlotte.  Im willing to pay face for it.  Im taking a first timer and I want to make sure her face melts.

Thanks

Anyone know what the VIP club access is for the show?  Live nation is selling for25 bucks and says it is not a ticket. What do you get?

The Fillmore Charlotte and Uptown Amp are connected. They use the VIP area of the Fillmore for Amp shows as well, so you'd have private access to the VIP bar area. Hope that helps.

Thats about it though, the bar section is off to a pretty bad angle, so I'd say save yer money.  The bar and table service are it, but you will want to move for the show.

I gotta say, as a long time lover of Phish (30+ shows spanning the last 15 years), it is refreshing to see a fan base like MMJ's.  I can feel the fervor!  And it makes me very, VERY excited for Sunday's show.....it's been awhile since I was this excited to see a show.  Looking forward to having my MMJ cherry popped.  Me thinks I may need to call in sick Monday morning.....

As for those asking about cool spots before the show, other than the bars next to the ampitheatre (VBGB Beer Garden), you can always hit up some of the more chill bars uptown (Phil's Tavern, Connelly's, RiRa's), all of which are a quick 5 minute cab ride (or shuttle ride?) to the show.  48 hours and counting till the fun begins!!!

Thanks for the info.  I won't bother with it. Can't wait for the show though

Thank you for this info!  If you park here to eat and drink can you then just walk to the show?  Wasn't sure how close it was.

They must have released some tickets today.  A buddy picked up some today around row 10 and I picked up one in row 7.

I've been to the venue 3 times now (went last night for Slightly Stoopid/Rebelution).  Really nice venue and has sounded great each time i've been there.  Not a bad seat in there even in the lawn since it's a smaller amphitheatre.  Never been to the bars/restaurants around it but theres a nice big parking lot right at the venue and parking is free.  We've been told no tailgating before but i've never seen that enforced.

I have a free ticket (2nd row PIT) for anyone who wants to go with me from Charleston or anywhere on the way.  My friend bailed last minute.  I'm a 22 year old guy, recent graduate from Penn State University.
