Strangely enough, one that hasn't been mentioned and doesn't seem to get nearly enough love: Knot Comes Loose.

That is one song I have never seen played live.  Has anyone seen "Knot Comes Loose" played in concert?  I know they've played it before but it's pretty rare.  It is definitely one of my favorite songs.

*raises hand*

They played it at the Fillmore in San Francisco on New Year's Eve's Eve's Eve 12/29/2006.  I had no idea how rare it was at the time.  It was the show that busted my MMJ live cherry.  I even got a setlist at the end of the show.  They played a lot of rare shit that night.  The show started off kind of mellow and ended kinda mellow with a delicious rawky road filling in between:

Intro
Into the Woods (Jim Solo)
I Needed it Most (Jim Solo)
Hopefully (Jim and Carl)
At Dawn
Golden
It Beats 4 U
Gideon
What a Wonderful Man
The Way That He Sings
X-Mas Curtain
Phone Went West
Sooner
Picture of You
I Think I'm Going to Hell
Laylow
One Big Holiday
Magheeta
---------------
Wordless Chorus
Off the Record
I Will Sing You Songs
Run Thru
Anytime
---------------
Knot Comes Loose
By My Car
Butch Cassidy (Jim and Carl)
Bermuda Highway (Jim solo)

There's a decent audio recording here:

Edit:  This board has a problem posting urls from the live archive.  No matter what I do, the link comes out wrong.  So, if you want the show, go to www.archive.org, click on the live music archive and do a search for mmj2006-12-29.

Seeing that setlist makes me want to kill you and take out your brain in order to try to re-live the memory. Insane. And at the Fillmore too. Jealousy
and if all else fails, i'll come running back, wonderin where you went
with my heart.

Oh My God. That setlist was beautiful. I wanna hear X-mas curtain so bad.
Why does my mind blow to bits everytime they play that song?

"Golden" made me listen to It Still Moves which got me into them but "The Bear" on Acoustic Citsuoca really made me fall in love

Golden was kinda one of those "later discovery" tracks for me. It seems everytime I listen to their catalog I hear a new song that I get obsessed with. Librarian did it. Rollin Back did it. Thank You Too did it. I fall in Love with this band over and over again.

Artist: Michael Buble
Vocal musician kinda like Frank Sinatra... Very nice, soothing music.

This show.  Me and a buddy busted ass from MS to CA to see the second and third night of this run. We got into town on the night of this show and chose not to go...for some reason. I'm sure it was dumb. 2 years later we were headed to the Waterfront show and realized we were passing through Nashville a couple hours before the Jacket was going on. Did not make the same mistake twice. Jacket in town? I'm in. No question.  And it was worth seeing Jim James ripping a nasty solo during War Begun, fireworks popping off in the background.  I haven't seen someone handle an axe like that since Kurt Russell in the movie "Backdraft."
You need it.  That's for sure.

I was at that show.  It was freaking beautiful listening to "War Begun" an the Titans had preseason fireworks shooting off at the same time.  Was epic.  Plus they played "Remnants" which I had been wanting to see played on the Evil Urges tour.  Some people don't care for that song but I love it.  It's very Pearl Jam-esc.
And all that ever mattered will some day turn back to batter, like a joke.

but, ahem.  You know...staying on topic and all that.  I guess it was OBH that got me interested.
Seeing them open with Oxen at the Gypsy Tea Room in Dallas circa 2004 sealed the deal.  My jaw dropped and stayed there.
What I wouldn't give to go back in time and see that one again.
You need it.  That's for sure.

Years ago it would be Bermuda Highway that pulled me in.  Still gets me.

Master Plan was my first MMJ experience. After that, i knew i was onto something special.

Can't say a specific song... But experience! Saw them at Bonnaroo 05, but
Bonnaroo 06 is what sealed the deal for me!

for me the greatness of ISM (still my top Jacket album) got me, but if i had to look back and pick one, it was probably OBH (followed very closely by Master Plan)
Don't you ever turn it off
