So, for SB I am taking a friend who refers to the band as "My Morning Movement". Why would I waste a ticket on this A-hole? Well for one thing he is my best friend. My only competitor as a best friend, who was 65 and was blown away by Okonokos, died suddenly last year. So Dave, who is the real "Dude", will be sitting in the front part of the front section C. He is 6 foot 2 with long grey hair over his shoulders, and a big ass grey beard. I have tried to get him into this band. He hated Dondonte and Run thru on the Okonosos DVD, but liked Steam Engine, on audio. If anyone here notices this guy, probably wearing a black hat, and a duster jacket, please give him some shit, and say a few things that might connect personally with him from this post. For example, "If Larry had not died you would not be here". It would make an incredible show just that much better! Larry , who was by far  the funniest person I ever knew, would love it.

new to the board but long time fan, been seeing MMJ since 05.  I live in SB and am driving down for the Pantages show tomorrow night then of course will be here for the Bowl show.  I can see it being half full for sure.

...anybody else in pit left section for SB?  It would be nice to put a face or two to the excellent prose (and sometimes poetry) that we get to enjoy on these boards.

I bought 2 tickets for PITT CENTER but I don't think it's gonna be divided into 3 sections.

I hope the weather in SB that night is equal or better to the weather today in SD! 8)

I also would love to travel out of state one day for back to back shows in the future.

Well...three very different, but three phenomenal shows.  The setlist variation was nice...and we got some really nice early tracks.  All in all, I'd say I'm happy.  Even happier if I had made the trek to Oakland.

Now...to book that flight to Denver in August.

    I've also been considering the Red Rocks show. Have you set a rough budget for all the expenses (flight,hotel, show and transportation)?

I'm thinking about Red Rocks as well. I just need a flight and a ticket. Everything else is taken care of.

Primus/ Flaming Lips also co-headline at Red Rocks the night before MMJ this year.
