Erykah Badu to Join My Morning Jacket for Unstaged Performance

Erykah Badu and actress Rachel Dratch will join My Morning Jacket for its Unstaged performance at Louisville KY's Palace Theater on Tuesday, May 31. The performance coincides with the release of the band's new album, Circuital and will be live-streamed at 9:00PM ET / 6:00PM PT at www.youtube.com/mymorningjacketVEVO and on mobile devices via VEVO and YouTube apps for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Android. The performance will be captured by award-winning filmmaker Todd Haynes ( Mildred Pierce , I'm Not There , Far From Heaven).
My Morning Jacket has covered Badu's "Tyrone" since 2000. The hip-hop diva even joined the group onstage for a version of the song at Dallas, TX's Palladium Ballroom in 2008.

Who is Rachel Dratch?

Thanks for keeping me from having to Google her. Even though I've always severly felt a bit repelled by Erykah Badu, I'm going into this with an open mind, open ears and an open heart. If MMJ is hosting the party, then I'm just a very appreciative guest. I'm sure it's going to be magnificent.
