Some random thoughts on Circuital

So I gave in and listened on NPR, but at least I didn't download the leaked version. You wanna Freak Out is probably my favorite song so far. The beginning of Victory Dance sounds like something out of a Ennio Morricone scored spaghetti western, but if the western was set in space instead of the west. I like Wonderful a lot more now than the first couple times I heard live versions of it, best slow song since Golden maybe. I think I hear Andrew Bird playing on that track, I'll have to wait to see the liner notes and see if he's credited. I like Outta My System a lot more than i thought I would, based on what people were saying about that one. Circuital seems like a more focused album than Evil Urges so far.
