Let's just return this thread to the Oakland show.  CC, if you're not too busy, feel free to scrub this thread so we can all move on.

In the meantime...

I told my husband that I could only attempt the rail if I had a stadium pal.   We chose the front of the first tier instead.  Perfect view.

Clinton Reno has put the Oakland poster up for sale on his website.  It says there's only 15 available, so get it while the getting is good!

Ms Y, great having a beer with you post show on Friday, and thanks for bringing the crew back into the City.

walterfredo, it was a blast running into you @ the uptown!  nothing like a little night cap with a bunch of people after a show.  your pals were friendly and hilarious.  made for a good ride home.  (and b. lived about 6 blocks from where i was staying.  piece of cake.  )

side bar of gratitude to seldom-posting sfsky for using her pro moves to get us to the giants' game before the first pitch on saturday.

A little late to the party, but you can add me to the roll call, too.

I was riding the rail right in front of Jim, too.

Amazing show last night. I didn't think they could put on one that even came close to the Greek Theatre show in Berkeley in the fog in 2008, but that gig and this one are, like, 1A and 1B for me.

What a monster set. I was worried I was gonna miss the BART train if they kept going.

What up coldengrey12?! Based on your comments I am pretty sure my wife and I were right next to you! So great meeting you, glad you caught the BART back, and hopefully we will meet again at the rail for another MMJ show down the road!

Thanks to everybody for the tips on the Fox and Bay Area, especially Waltfredo for the heads up on Jack London Square. We had a glorious trip to the West Coast, and our show poster made it back all the way to Houston (big thanks to the Fox for the "poster" check). First time to witness Steam Engine live, and Dancefloors with PHJB blew us away. Totally forgot about Highly Suspicious that late in the set so it was a nice surprise. Pun. Anyway, I thought Jim's shadow boxing, karate kid crane kicks, and the standard Wordless Chorus antics were some definite highlights. Thank you California, thank you Fox Theater, and thank you MMJ. My wife recently posted a brief documentation of our weekend so I thought you might like it! http://emilyeblog.wordpress.com/2011/06/27/ca/

Hey all, great show at Fox Theater. I took some shots of the band and thought I would post here. I was right in front of Jim so didn't get many band shots, but am happy with the way they turned out.

Hope you enjoy. Feel free to leave comments on the blog.

If you had on a bright green toboggan cap, I think I know exactly who you are.

It was really nice to meet you, too! I guess since you came to Oakland to see MMJ, I'm gonna have to come to your neck of the woods next time. ;D

No tape for this show, huh?  :'(

That's a shame. It was a good'un.

One month since this epic face meltage of a show and still no sign of a recording.  It's not looking good.  If the band wanted to leak a soundboard recording of any show they've played recently, it might be this one!

I agree - I loved the show at the civic because of where I was standing, but this fox show was just incredible.
