I have no idea 'cause I don't really drink.
My friend says these are pretty good:
Kuleto's- They have cheap cocktails during happy hour. You can sit and chat.

Maly Bar- cheap drinks.

Zanzibar- She went there drunk but it's her favourite out of the three. Plus it has a pun in it's name...

There is a bar at the Enmore aswell which is always pretty packed. Not too good for a meet up though.

I have no idea! Sydney is not my town! When I'm there I usually get led to places by my mate who lives there... I'll make some enquiries and see if he has a recommendation.

Are you guys in a hotel in the CBD? We could meet somewhere and catch the train out to Newtown? We won't need to get there too early now as there is no soundcheck party...

Yeah, we have a hotel in the CBD.  I think a friend (or friends) of ours may also go to the show.  They live in Sydney, so they may have ideas.   Send me a PM with your mobile, and I'll send you mine once we get to Sydney as we'll have to purchase a SIM card.

might have to take me off melbourne and add me to perth :'( .... the price of flights just got way to expensive to try and pull it off. Waited around to see if my gf could somehow pull funds together for herself and in the process flight prices went up 150 bucks both ways....

now have two spare door tickets if anyone is interested.... its through love police so your name just goes on a door list.
