I actually dig the originality of this Fung (I built a lot of models as a kid) and find most of his stuff fun, but to each their own.
reminds me a lot of this:

Pearl Jam San Francisco 06

Well, I'll be damned... I still like the Fung, though.  Maybe I'm just addicted to the fumes!

i have noticed that fung's posters do have quite an aroma. maybe its the black ink used for the background?

His T5 #5 and Burlington 10 have solid black ink mighty heavy.  I bought a leftover MPP 11 at Boston and it still stunk up the joint.  :o

Yea that's exactly what it is, he does full bleeds of a black base on most of his posters or other full bleeds as the base color which cause the posters to smell extra strong, when i walked up to the merch table at MPP i could smell the ink and once it was in front of me i could tell it was a Fung.  He does have some smelly posters for sure but i like the smell and my girl can't stand it, she says it reminds her of Montauk Daisies but i am not familiar with how those smell.

Do you have an extra Tuscaloosa poster or do you know how to obtain one?
I failed to get one, and as a resident that is almost unforgivable.......less strong drinks.

You can contact Randy Fung through his email, one of the nicest people i have had email conversations with.  His email address is irfung @ aol.com.  Hope this helps you track it down as i am sure you should be able to acquire one from him.

The main image in this poster reminds me of the Death Star from Star Wars, was at the show so i picked this one up.  It is anchored in a water scene as you can see sharks swimming around also. That was the first thing i saw other then the eye of course, but what do you all think?

I think I must be addicted to the smell too... or maybe i just like Fungs but something made pick one up on impulse even though I wasn't at the show.  I see what you mean about the death star but I thought it was one of those old fashioned diving bells especially with the diver & sharks around it.  Also the longer I look at the red background the more it looks like the ocean floor.  cool poster imho

I picked one up at MPP also, and agree with the "diving bell" as well. They used to have one off the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, and got to dive in one as a kid.

This is my 3rd Fung, (I have the other 2 johnny mentioned), and it's by far the smelliest! The only thing that helped was immediately framing it. At Boston two nights later they had some for sale, and you could still smell them while on line, even though they were in a glass case! ??? I do like it a lot though, just not crazy about the GI Joe-like font.

don't want to bum you out but I think this one will be very hard to find.   According to Randy it was a smallish run and unlike most prints where the artist retains some to sell (that's how they earn their $$) Randy gave all his away in an effort to maximize proceeds for charity!  what a guy, but if you didn't buy one at the show I think you are out of luck.   Best bet is ebay or get lucky through here. maybe someone as you asked has an extra?

e_wind

I do not have an extra, sorry.

At the show I said "damn this poster smells so strong" and my girlfriend acted like I just escaped the looney bin and all posters smell. Glad to know I'm not yet crazy.

Last nights poster?

I picked up last nights poster but I can't get a picture of it until late tonight or tomorrow.  Decent poster I guess
