Awesome setlist.  I would have loved a Dancefloors in Milwaukee. Glad I got a Dondante, Lay Low, and Heartbreakin Man.  This band is going through the stratosphere.

It worked really well, coming out of the first 3 tracks of Circuital.  Early Wordless is a nice change, too.  And I am loving the guitar intro into Slow Slow Tune.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

"Though their fans were happy to sing along and fist-pump to earlier anthems ("I'm Amazed") the new tracks had the drunk, bearded audience screaming like Bieber girls and air-drumming en masse."

I love the above quote from the article.

from what i've seen in the photostream from this set.. is alot of really quality camera angles and effects which leads me to believe this might have been professionally video shot by someone.. maybe for a later release.. i mean look at all those perfectly timed shots

I'm afraid I cannot tell you this.

Honest Man!!!  One of my favorite MMJ songs.  Great version.

Big Nasty

This was a phenomenal show. MMJ just keep getting better. I've started this habit of recording songs on my Flip camera as the ultimate souvenir from my MMJ shows and I just uploaded 9 songs to Youtube (Honest Man, Where to Begin, The Day Is Coming, First Light, Wonderful, Holdin On To Black Metal and 3 by Daniel Martin Moore) from Friday night. Amateur videography but worth it to see the best band to grace the land.

enjoy :)

Nice! This appears to be the same version as the torrent downloads found here: http://www.mymorningjacket.com/forum/index.php?topic=14892.0

The difference is that the torrent downloads are in lossless flac format (which I converted to Apple Lossless for use in iTunes - I used the free XLD app for Mac to do the conversion).

The download from the Steam Engine site has already been converted to lossy mp3 files.

So, to take an example, Magheeta from the torrent flac is 1020 kbps, while the Steam Engine mp3 is only 256 kbps.

Wanting to squeeze every bit of sound quality I can from the recordings, I am opting for the higher kbps flac files. I have burned them to CD and listened in my car and it sounds awesome. I have also listened on my laptop using a DAC (with powered speakers and/or headphones) and they sound even better.

If you just want to have smaller files to save space, or will be listening only on your iPod, or just don't care that much, you might want to opt for the mp3s.
