My mind was blown in Chicago!

If Eryka Badu and the Black Metal Girls were there it would've blown Louisville out of the water.  I don't know if they can let loose more in other cities or what but they BROUGHT IT in Chi-town!

Great setlist.  I went in with low expectations and got blown away, but what else should I expect from the boys?

Great to see everyone, btw!

I dunno. Bonnaroo, 8PM mainstage was pretty awesome.

Chicago was quite amazing too - was it just me or was it almost tooo loud??  Man, I was singing at the top of my lungs to every song and wasn't bothering a soul.  Except, Where to Begin was interrupted by everyone around me talking...ohhh well.

Honest Man was by far the highlight.
God damn those shaky knees.

After listening and watching (and relistening and rewatching) the audio and video from all of the different shows starting with Louisville, I think Chicago remains the show to be beat. The sound, as well as the band's and the audience's energy at the Chicago show seem unrivaled so far. (I am kind of puzzled by how laid back both the band and the audience seemed in Louisville, but I wasn't there so maybe the recorded records are misleading.) Disclaimer: I was lucky enough to be at the Chicago show.

Rufus T. Firefly was at the bar?  Did we meet?   :o

Yep, you may remember I was the guy who bid on the poster and then asked how I could pay cause I was short on cash...I didn't end up winning anyway, I'm old, and bald...well Matt Lauer bald.

Does anyone know if the signed Chicago poster was won by a forum member?

watchtower41

Yes, I took the nestea plunge got the winning bid on it.  ;D

Anything for the kids  ;) actually kinda glad I did, because all the posters were gone by the time we got to the Theater with all the friends we were waiting for at Kasey's.  I guess there was only 85 of them?? Then of course one of my best friend's that was working the bar got his signed much later after the show when we met the fellas before they headed to Minnesota.

You as well, I guess I should have lead off with Rufus T. Firefly. First time with the group, I guess I was a little shy.

I liked the white boots. Jim seems to have ditched them recently, though. Too hot?
