I just got a notification on this from Amazon today.  What is it??  I searched the forum and seen no discussion about it.  When was it released? is it a limited pressing??  I'm thinking about picking up the vinyl.

It is a bunch of goodness, I suggest you get it.  I am sure if you search the site there is a thread or 2 in it's honor...
*it was released for Record Store Day in 2009

Definitely one of my favorites - really great live versions of Where to Begin, Phone Went West and Dondante.

2009!  Holy cow, I thought it was brand new.  I never knew it existed until today.  Do you/anybody know how many vinyls and cd's the run was limited to?

Agreed it's an awesome live show, for sure best version of Dondante IMO.

Does anyone know the exact breakdown of which songs came from the in-store vs. the songs from Waterfront Park? I can never remember  :embarassed:

I think the EU tracks are the only ones from Ear X-tacy. I could be wrong....

Its funny, on Monday I visited the record store in Concord where I used to work, shit, 20 years ago, and the owner, who knows I'm a huge Jacket fan, shows me CDLCN and is like, "John, have you seen their latest?"  I told him its at least a year or two old and he tells me, no, no, it just came out.  Weird.  I had to show him the copyright date on the disc.  Must have been reissued or something?
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

the first few songs are from the ear x show...(all the evil urges tunes). the other songs all came from the waterfront show but they tweaked with the crowd noise and made you really think about where they were playing. i know where to begin kind of sounds like it's in a small music hall. it's like that until the final song (dondante) and they really want you to know they recorded it in front of 10,000 folks...love that song

it was released initially for record store day to participating stores.  my guess is that it's been made available for wide distribution.  i just saw it today among the new releases at jackpot records in portland.

They re-issued it, and when I first heard about this, the reissue tracklist appeared to have 1 more song...can anyone confirm this?

Triumvirate of entertainment. Monty Python, MMJ and fill in the blank. For me the blank is the Who, who is clearly the bridge between MMJ an MP. (Think Keith Moon)
