"Suzanne" is a masterpiece. Seek out the original studio track and album, Songs of Leonard Cohen.

As loved as Cohen is as a singer-songwriter, he's equally or even more revered as a poet and novelist. Look for one or more of his poetry collections, perhaps starting with Stranger Music, which also contains some of his best-loved song lyrics.
