Imagine your wife weighed 800 pounds and never took a shower or combed her hair.

And you brought her plates full of cheeseburgers and french fries, saying, "Aw, you're so pretty."

That's not love.

This is love: AMERICA, STOP HOGGING THE WORLD, START CLEANING UP YOUR MILITANT ATTITUDE, AND RUN A FINE-TOOTH COMB THROUGH THOSE CORPORATE-KISSING LAWS!

And oh, America -- I love you. I just want you to be healthy. No more greasy prejudice for you. I don't want you to have a heart attack[/i] <3

Google Ron Paul

U.S. interests collide at times with its support for democracy in the Middle East, says Hillary Clinton. She admits that the U.S. treats democracy movements differ depending on the situation.

But democratic freedom is ultimately the best guarantee of stability, she adds.

Clinton spoke on Monday about Washington's response to the Arab spring, when U.S. allies such as Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak condemned. She accused while the country's now-governing military council to delay the elections.

Ok...been peeking at this thread and can't hold back...

It is insulting how self-proclaimed "small government" candidates want to lord over our personal lives, beat us in the head with the bible and expand the skewed advantage that "the too big to fail" banks and corporations already enjoy.  Unfortunately, wall street has become a powerful government faction, and assisting corporations in becoming more powerful smells like huge, bloated government to me.  Less regulation of corporate America and more regulation of the private lives of American citizens simply is not small government.  What is most insulting to me is that these candidates erode personal freedoms and protect the ability of corporations to continue a culture of corruption under the guise of patriotism and expect America to buy into it... >:(

What we are experiencing right now is a recalibration of wealth from a middle class that was starting to get a leg up back to the top of an already bobble-headed economic distribution.  Soooo many assets that were taken from those not wealthy or powerful enough to protect them have been devalued and have been purchased or are available for purchase at grossly lower cost than normal market value.   It seems unnecessary to state that only the wealthy and connected have the means to take advantage of America's "great yard sale".  If you are a conspiracy theorist, you might even say this recession we are in was orchestrated to accomplish that specific goal.   >:( >:(
soft and warm all the time make you want it over and over

This is a really interesting question to me.  You make a really good point here.  I'm not sure how I feel about this......

I think Ron Paul feels very strongly one way about it, and I feel like a woman could feel just as strongly the other way about it, and I feel like Ron Paul's answer is to put it the hands of the state instead of the federal government.   It seems like the easy way out.

I guess that's my concern about Ron Paul, he seems to avoid the tough issues by saying "The State Should Decide That"

No; "YOU" should decide that.  Just like Ron Paul, or anyone else. What's so wrong with that?

Let's just decide those things on our own, instead of asking for approval from some other entity.

It seems easy to me.

There are a plenty of people ready to adopt a baby. How about we just make it easier for them, something the government could REALLY DO, Thus diminishing abortions.

I've got a good idea, how about we make it illegal to be a serial killer?  I'm sure it will stop them....as long as it's done on a "State Level".

While we're at it, we could even make the world a better place to live in.  Instead of fighting the war on drugs, we could fight the war on war.  That way, when people got high, they would only want to kill themselves.    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

No way dude, we can't come home before they believe in democracy and Christianity.  Otherwise we have failed them.

I'm totally gonna vote for Ron Paul now.

Race of Robots

The only thing good about him is his foreign policy. States shouldn't decide shit just for states. Women should be free to do what they choose with their bodies. Gold is just a metal. The ideal free-market is pie in the sky. And care for the poor and unhealthy should be a concern of everyone. All of these are things Paul disagrees with.

I voted for him in the last election, but I've upped my standards and refuse to vote for a presidential candidate that doesn't believe in evolution. Oh, my... I may never vote again...
