Not any album that Phish or the Flaming Lips have already famously covered.

In case you couldn't tell, I've been gettin' down to a lot of Parliament and Funkadelic lately...  8))

2 sets of whatever band people have been listening to lately. Should go over really well with the crowd.  ;D ;D

Two sets of nasty funk and blasting horns from MMJ sounds pretty good to me!

Hulk Hogan and The Wrestling Boot Band - Hulk Rules

Featuring the all-time classic "Hulkster in Heaven"

Hulk Hogan - Hulkster in Heaven

I actually think it would be great if MMJ announced a festival set or something "covering a landmark album", and then played 3 or 4 songs from something like this and just played MMJ songs for the rest of the night.

Hulkster in Heaven is a great song. That album blows my mind all the time, but not in the same way mmj does
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

Did what better? Better musicianship? Probably. Brought a better party? Not a chance...  8)

Nothing says  EPIC MMJ SHOW like covering 2 full underproduced albums from Crackheads that loved to party.

Exactly. I'm glad you agree. What a sweeheart.  :-*

And that was Crackhead with a capital "C." Those guys earned that.  :o

You're looking for a Big Party.  How about these 2 albums back to back! These guys partied so much that even one of them went and died. What a good time.

Hmm...not really into Sublime, so I'd probably pass on that show. But hey, it sounds like that's your kind of band, so have fun!

Then If it's all about the party, let's take it up a notch! :o :o

LOL. I have that cd. It had MMMbop on it I think. LOL
Why does my mind blow to bits everytime they play that song?

La barba de Castro

I would love to hear them cover the entirety of George Harrison's 'All Things Must Pass.' I know we've already got a few from Jim's 'Tribute To,' but I would love to hear the full band on some of these.

wolof7

Actually just the Station to Station track would suffice....Jim and Bo would be all over this one!
Oh, I will dine on honey dew And drink the Milk of Paradiseeeee

rincon

I would pay serious $$ to hear them do this. Lyrics don't matter.  One of the most melodic albums ever, interpreted by possibly the best modern melodic band.

Hearing Jim cut loose on "Moral Kiosk" or "Catapult" would be it for me I think. From there, I'd just ascend into the sky.
It's all happening.

Pink Floyd - The Division Bell
Forget Dark Side of the Moon. It's been done to death. In fact, I can't even listen to it anymore I've heard it so dang much in my life.
But I'd LOVE to hear Jim sing "What do you want from me?" Keep Talking,"Loss for Words", etc.
Why does my mind blow to bits everytime they play that song?
