This was just amazing.  I was right in front of Yim. :D  He made eye contact with me so many times then gave me a cookie just before they left the stage at the end of the set.  I also got a drumstick from Patrick.

Yes I was and I was in front of Jim then too.  My brother got a fistbump from him in the middle of Wordless Chorus last year.

Is it worth the $50? My wife and I almost went to the show and almost bought a DB Club membership.

My brother won his membership then won another one a year later at Park Street Festival on the CD101 prize wheel.  He put all my information in that time so we both have a card and can each get a guest in with us.  I love it.  I've seen so many bands in the front row.  Black Keys, Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, Dan Auerbach, Cold War Kids, and The Kills to name a few.  Its a whole different experience.  I don't want to move away from the city and give this up.

i know its just because of christopher columbus and otherwise i'm likely full of shit, but i'd like to live in my head and think that the caption the boys chose for the photo on twitter was a nod of approval that i came dressed in a ship captain's get-up, or, if you will, the reason "it's a bad idea to go down to the pier by yourself after dark."
