Everyone keep in mind this venue is not setup well at all for a concert. I've always avoided going to concerts here and have heard nothing but bad things about the setup.

Floor is the best bet if you can get close. If you do general admission I have no idea what seats are best because you have to remember the lower level on the sides is sunken. however, close up on the sides in the seats would be better than the mid/back of the floor

what is everyone going to do?

I'm going GA its the only way for me I'm nota  fan of seats

Saw Modest Mouse at one of these "student" shows.  The sound was awful, the vibe was awful, the venue made me want to puke.  I'm in.   :D

Tracy, floor?

They're not toys, they're action figures.  >:(

You know what, just forget about it; we don't have a floor in our house anymore, we sold it!!

are you fellas and fellitas going to call in tickets, submit to Ticketbastard, or wait and buy them at the box office?

Really debating on this, kinda wish I wouldn't had read all the negatives about the venue.  Is there anyone that has had a good experience in this place?
Y'all got any disco ball back there?

I'm fairly certain some frat guys got laid after the Modest Mouse show.

I've only been to basketball games there. The seats ARE sunken on the sides of the court. I can't imagine how they set up for a concert there. Plus, it is a basketball gym, what kind of acoustics can the possibly have? On the other hand, it might be great for reverb.

I had to try three or four times, but GA is where it's at! I will be riding the rail too...hopefully we can have a decent blob of fans up front to get the vibe goin  :bath:

I've got to wait until I get home. Our stupid filter at work blocks ticketmaster. Hopefully, with general admission, it really doesn't matter. Last year with Lil Wayne, you could still buy tickets at the door.

[quote author=johnnYYac link=topic=15530.I forgot about that. I've been a little distracted today. I had to break up a big fight at school and ended up on the floor wrapped around the brawler; if he had turned in the other direction, it would have looked like we were about to have sex. :embarassed: I ended up not getting floor tickets, but that's ok too. With this crowd, I may be happier a little away from the stage.
