I just looked it. Super hyped to go to Nashville and SUPER SUPER hyped to take a little trip to new york for the first time in my life.

the next step is for you new yorkers/jerseyers to tell me where is the best place to get a hotel. i think ericm was telling me that its a lot easier/cheaper to get a hotel in jersey and there is public transport into the city.

Hotels in the city are expensive and rates will probably be jacked up for the holiday season.  I don't have any suggestions since I've always lived so close to the city so I would def take Eric's suggestions.

Even more exciting that I will be living in the city by then.  Start spreading the news I'm leaving today!  :bath:

Selfishly, I'm soooo pumped that there will be 2 shows within a 3 hour drive for me. I'm feel very appreciative of the MMJ gods who planned a boca raton and orlando show.

very thankful this evening.  can't wait till december
 congratulations, haldon!

hard to believe they'll be playing california and south florida on the same tour leg.  :o

Good for you ms. y !! Are you going to do S.F. too, or does that question even need to be asked?  ;)

I'm thinking about going to San Francisco. I just checked airfare and i could do it. I'll have to convince my husband that instead of a new couch for the holidays, I'd rather go to spend a weekend in San Francisco and see a band that he doesn't like. Yep, that will work.

Sidenote - my husband has horrible musical taste, but I love him anyway.

gardenparty

do we have ticket prices yet?  I can't find anything other than soundcheck being $45 more than reguar tickets.

buymycar

Two Bay Area shows in six months!  I'm still trying to find my face after the Fox show!

GO4IT

I'm happy for all of you who got shows in your neck of the woods at nice venues.

I was really looking forward to something more attractive for NYC.  MSG on a Wed just doesn't turn me on given some of the shows I've seen over the past couple of months in more intimate venues.

I was at the MSG show for NYE and that was definitely something special, a true milestone for them.  But they've been there, done that, and on a way more magical night.  Something like a run at the Beacon would have been spectacular and more in tune with the great karma generated by T5 last year.

Oh, well, there are still 2 weeks at the end of Dec unbooked by MMJ and the Beacon.  One can hope.

this news is pretty underwhelming for a michigander :(
some get stoned, some get strange, sooner or later it all gets real.

I think all signs now point to Louisville for NYE. I'd come out for it.

Is it weird I'd rather do this than MSG?
if it falls apart or makes us millionaires

Nope. I'd be all over a Kentucky New Year's Eve Celebration. I'm a little leery about buying tickets to MSG knowing that they might drop a Louisville NYE on us. Is this a credible rumor or just fabricated optimism?

Being based out of KY and not quite up for large travel, even for a show of this magnitude (I LOVE BAND OF HORSES!!!) I won't be attending any of these shows (other than possibly/likely the Nashville show), so I'm really hoping for a NYE in Louisville show. If MSG and Louisville were both an hour away from me, I'd rather do NYE at the Garden, but as things are, I'd much prefer a YUM Center show.
It's all happening.

they've already done a huge L-ville show this tour, i don't see them doing a NYE show..
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

I just think Louisville could be smaller/more special.  I did the MSG thing and it was great in its way, and I love BoH, I'm just looking for something...more.

I know. But I'm trying to ignore that logic.  ::)

That's why I'm hoping for a small Lville show  :)
