Maggie...not sure if anyone else suggested, but you can drop your bags at any hotel.  I've done that a bunch...they'll give you a claim ticket just as if you were staying there.  I don't think I've ever paid a fee for that service.  Happy that you're coming!!

Maggie... this may be slightly more hectic for you, but I'm staying at a hotel a little over half a mile from MSG, and will be arriving on Tuesday, so if you need a place to stash em for the show my room will be available. I'll even let you put them in the bath tub incase there are bed bugs!

Awww, thanks, you guys!  So thoughtful.  I think we're going to drop our stuff at Val's - it's close to where we're staying, and we'll be able to change out of our traveling clothes before heading into Manhattan.  But thanks for the offers, excited to see you both!

listening to the Dallas show is making me crazy for Wednesday, i want to savor minute up to the show because once it's done it will only be a memory  :( 

lil sis, let me know if you sort anything out about the roll call tickets. I am happy to be a roll call member but will call is not my favorite way to receive tickets. I am working that day and not sure what time i'll make it over to join everyone. October is taking my other ticket and i wish to God that he could pick them up for us...Rats Balls!!! Pre show always gets me a little stressed with everyones talk of the rail and taking the day off and meeting up early. MMJ, NYC loves you PLEASE give us a Saturday night show someday!!!!

there are no real standout's around the garden but still good descent. My personal favorites are Bleecker street pizza, Village pizza and Artichoke.
Artichoke is not your normal slice of pizza some crazy specialty huge slices. Has 3 locations. their greenwhich village location is steps away from bleecker street pizza. Not close to the garden but a 8-10 minute train ride away.
