oh my gosh getting more and more excited by the minute!

Looking like we will be able to get to Stoudt's between 3:30-4pm, which was unexpected - didn't think we would get there til a lot later.  Very psyched!

Are we meeting on the main floor?  I seem to remember some discussion about this, but too lazy to wade through the thread.

I think that's where we'll start out. The main floor at Stout is pretty big, and they don't usually open the lower level until dinner time if needed. If we have a big enough group maybe they'll decide to open it up earlier. The downstairs is the perfect pre/post show spot,imo, but I'm thinking we'll most likely be on the main level pre-show.

They do have one of those free standing chalkboard type things that they usually put outside on the sidewalk for specials, announcements, etc. For a few pre shows they had the band name and "pre-party downstairs" on it, so if they open up the lower level, I'm sure they'll direct everyone to the right spot.

Getting psyched too, and looking forward to seeing you and Bob again.

OK...I am almost recovered from San Francisco and am anticipating being in fine form for MSG.  Spent the T5 shows back by the soundboard, but think I may need to be on the rail for this one.

Flight lands around 12:30 and by the time I get outta EWR and into the city, I'll probably just head straight to the box office and then to Stout.

Maggie...not sure if anyone else suggested, but you can drop your bags at any hotel.  I've done that a bunch...they'll give you a claim ticket just as if you were staying there.  I don't think I've ever paid a fee for that service.  Happy that you're coming!!

I scanned the thread...pre-game at Stout and Santa hats...anything else?

Maggie... this may be slightly more hectic for you, but I'm staying at a hotel a little over half a mile from MSG, and will be arriving on Tuesday, so if you need a place to stash em for the show my room will be available. I'll even let you put them in the bath tub incase there are bed bugs!

trust me, I pushed it. a nice hotel only minutes away from manhattan for a cheaper price? sounds too good to be true. however, caroline was all about staying close, so she can pop in and out of the hotel to change or put down shopping bags or whatever it is she plans on doing. so now, were staying at a hotel minutes from time square thats only 100$. im scared.


luckily, on bed bug registration web site, there were only a couple cases reported there, where as some of the nice 3 and 4 star hotels had tons of cases reported.

She requested the day off back in September, but recently there was a change in her company and when she reminder her supervisor the other day that she had the day off they basically told her that she could not longer take the day.  Too much info to get into but it's a really fucked up situation.  She is still planning to go, but can't say for sure what time she can get there.  She is def not going to be able to make it to Stout.  The catch is she purchased the tickets with her Roll Call and CC and I either have to see if I can get the tickets transferred into my name or I have to pretend to be her.  The catch with that is that I will have her license and if I have to leave her ticket at will call she will need her ID to get the ticket.  I think.  I was at MSG last night for the Rangers game and I had to show mine to pick my ticket up.  We're getting together tomorrow to see what the game plan is.  I will be so pissed if she is not with me at the show!
