Definitely going to the Nashville show and maybe Atlanta. Going to try for GA. How fast does it usually sell out?

Ga's will go quick for both I would think.  The rest I'm not sure for these two. I know he's played Atlanta on close to every tour, but not sure the last time he played Nashville. That one might sell quick because it's been a while, or it just might not be a hot ticket at all, and that's why he's not been there often. Is there a buzz down there for the show? That's usually the best indicator. My thinking is Atlanta ga's will go quick because there's not that many, and those will all be in the pit but Nashville might take a bit longer because it's a bigger ga section. If they went on sale at the same time, and I was trying for both, I'd go for Atlanta pit ga's first. I think if you were just looking to get in the door, you shouldn't have trouble for either show.

Bruce usually holds some nice tix back at the on sale to keep away from scalpers, and releases them in the days leading up to the show. So if you don't get something you like right at the on sale, don't just grab a shitty seat unless you'd be ok sitting there. Wait it out, and more times than not, faith will be rewarded! I've gotten some of the best seats ever many times a day or two before the show. The only shows I ever just take any ticket is MSG because they're usually gone in a heartbeat, and he doesn't always re-release tix for those shows. Some yes, but not always, and even then it's not many.

Keep in mind that Bruce has a lottery system in the US for his ga entry, and it's not a 1st come 1st served thing like an MMJ show.  If you do ga, let me know, and I'll be happy to forward some info on that, some tips, and help if you have any questions about it. It looks to me like Atlanta ga's will all be in the pit, but Nashville will end up having a front pit, and secondary ga like he has for all US arenas. The lottery will be in place for 1st entry for both, but any pit ga ticket for Atlanta will be great. Nashville you could end up anywhere on the floor depending on the lottery.

Good luck with tix.

Ericm or Headhunter (or anyone else), have you utilized the new Live Downloads that Bruce is offering?

Not yet. I'm waiting for a show I think was a "WOW, I really wish I was at that" and also for the ones I will be going to.

I really haven't heard much about the sound quality if you were wondering, but I know the original $40 wristband thing wasn't too popular. Glad to see they've changed course with this, and are offering other cheaper options.

Here's an official soundcloud release that I believe was taken right from the download so a pretty good idea of the sound quality. Could be better IMO, but still sounds pretty damn good.

I haven't gone for any of the DL's of the new shows on the Springsteen W/S.  I have so many live shows dating back to '73 and dozens and dozens of Bruce vinyl boots from the 70's/80's, that I have less interest in paying for these newer shows.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love being at a Bruce show and like both new and old stuff.  But as far as what has staying power for me and what I will pay to DL, it has to be either unique and special or something from what I consider the "Glory Days".

A show featuring the full live performance of Greetings or Wild or BTR or Darkness would get me to spend my $$ right away.  Or maybe even more material from Tracks.

A little ( well big actually) primer for the upcoming ticket sales. One of my all time favorite Bruce tunes and still killing it 40+ years down the road. The Professor is off the charts ripping those ivories.

I remember getting in on some of the pre-show Tracks Bruce juice with you and Sassbox in Philly!

Here's hoping we can get some more of that on this High Hopes tour.    hopefully it'll be before an arena show this time. I'm not sure I'd do more than one Stadium show going forward.

Eric, when do you think the next leg of the tour will happen/get announced?  Have you heard any rumblings?

What I've heard is they're waiting to see how this round of sales go. Typical Landau strategy. Create more demand for the smaller markets by not announcing Northeast/Chicago/LA dates, and get people in those markets worried this round will be it, and go to one of more of these announced dates. It's kind of worked in my case as I'll be trying for Tampa tix tomorrow. Then agin if my daughter and some friends weren't down in Florida, I'd probably skip that, and do something like Pitt or Albany. Either way, they got me putting my traveling shoes on.

Nothing definite yet, but my take is if these sales go well, we should here something like a "due to the overwhelming demand Bruce has added more shows" type of thing. If they are planning more shows, it'll probably go down something like that, with an announcement a week or two after the last sale date of this leg.

I have been hearing a beginning of June Philly rumor for a while now. That rumor also included several of these shows already announced, so I'm hoping it's solid, and they are just waiting.

Either way I'd be awfully surprised if we didn't get some NE shows this year. I don't remember him ever skipping the area after a new album is released. I'm hoping if we don't get some this spring, we'll get arenas in the fall. I'm not looking forward to another summer of stadium shows. I'd go but probably only to one.

I'll definitely keep you posted.

Nice! You're gonna love that one. Anywhere in that Amp pit will be great, and you really don't have to do his lottery for 1st entry unless you want to.

We're in for Pit ga's in Tampa. Same deal with that pit, and we'll just stroll in about an hour before the show, and still be close. I like to hang towards the back of the pit for his shows unless I can get the rail.

I'm not sure how they're going to do the ramp or platform things this go round in the Amps.Last time there weren't any, but in arenas he has them to the side as well at either the back of the front pit or front of the secondary floor. The rail on the secondary ga floor section is a great spot to be in arenas IMO. He'll either be on a platform back there for a bit or take a couple of strolls through the area between both ga sections.

Including joining him for the opener.  I can't recall Bruce ever having someone open a show with him. I've seen him open shows solo acoustic, and obviously with the band but not with another artist joining him for one of his shows.

Melbourne definitely got a treat with that as well as a pretty sweet  setlist. ( well not counting the whole BITUSA album )

Got the Nashville GA ticket too! Absolutely thrilled to get to be in the pit less than ten days apart! Eric could you send me the lowdown on how the lottery works? I've read the official statement from the Wrecking Ball tour but I'm still a bit confused on times

Sure. The info for each specific show is usually released a couple of days before the show (wristband times, what gate to get them, drawing time, where the lineup is, etc) but if you have any general questions in the mean time just shoot me a pm with them, and I'll help as much as I can.

Usually they set aside a three hour or so window in the afternoon to get a wristband, and usually limit the number of those handed out to around 700-1200 depending on venue size. Then at a later specified time they draw the number.
