Didn't see a roll call for this show, the second of the remaining shows in 2011.

Not sure if this is the same soundcheck available to Roll Call members.  Looks like MMJ will also be open to Q & A.

Anyone going to this show?  Soundcheck, too?

The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Crap, just realized the soundcheck party package isn't for sale anymore - anybody got any ideas as to how I can still buy one?

Same here...going to the show, but not the soundcheck.

Walter...any good beer to be found in easy walking distance of the venue?  :)

Sangban

do not miss sharon jones and the dapkings.

i will be shocked if MMJ doesn't have her and the horns sit in for a few choice nuggets.

Zeitgeist or The Toronado. Both about a mile from the BGC. Check 'em out.  Also, city beer is the bomb! And about a half mile from the venue. They have about 6-8 (maybe more?) awesome beers on tap and probably have the best bottled beer selection in the city available for purchase to take with you. All are solid beer places within walking distance.  Scope out their websites.

I'm going to both. I've never been to a soundcheck before so I'm looking forward to that. I can't think of any good questions to ask though.

What about Baby MMJ?  Surely she wants to hang with some of her JFW peeps again, and hear some Camp Crispy tales! ;)

I hope to see you, Matthew, and Baby MMJ again on Friday.

Aha! I will be flying solo this Friday!  I will have a local friend in tow, though.  This will be her 2nd Jacket show.  The first being the NYE Fillmore show I dragged her to.

Baby MMJ and Matthew will stay home to watch the PDX homestead, but I will let them know that they will be missed.  Looking forward to seeing you again, Eric!

EDIT: I take that back, her THIRD Jacket show; I forgot about Outside Lands.
My jacket's gonna be cut slim and checked

Knew that I could count on you!  :)  Thanks!  We'll be kicking around town most of the day Friday so hittinga good pre-game spot should be a piece of cake.

What do folks think.... will these sets on this leg of the tour be similar to those from the summer tour? As in, are you expecting Victory Dance->Circuital openers, Gideon and OTR early, extended Dondantes and Steam Engines late....
Or do you think they'll mix it up more? Getting pumped for Friday...such a treat to get MMJ so soon again after an epic summer run! :D :D :D

I'm definitely hoping they mix it up more, but have a feeling it'll be similar to the summer shows. I'd really love to see them break out different openers for this leg of the tour.

I like being surprised by the opening tune, and getting different ones each night, be it MMJ or any other band.
