Wtf was that last song holy shit

Ghosts_on_TV

Show was great. Bobby Bare Jr. was awesome (and hilarious), same set as I'm assuming all of the shows, and union transfer is a great venue, no wonder why all the good philly shows are there nowadays. One thing, I'm a fan enough of son volt and jay farrar, but he's not much of a frontman.

The wind blew me back, via Chicago, in the middle of the night.

Jane

heres a video i have of Jim singing Wonderful at the birchmere. Not too bad considering it was taken with my iPhone.

Jim James sings Wonderful

Nice video. I enjoyed the end. I love it when he makes those sounds - we really need a name for it to describe when he does that.

TSarge

Has he played Wonderful at each show? Is it unreasonable for me to hope for Bermuda Highway or Butch Cassidy or IWBTWYD?????  :P

Are there setlists for these shows? I'm telling you they played the closer after they all sang there solos and it was a freaking wall of sonic boom coupled with jim wailing. They destroyed it, it was an official face melt. I need to know what it was.

Here is an earlier setlist.   Was it the last song?

br00ke

for tonight ...

Set times:
JAY FARRAR, WILL JOHNSON, ANDERS PARKER & YIM YAMES - 9:45PM
BOBBY BARE JR. - 8:30PM
Doors @ 7:30PM

BIGVICLBI

I'm not sure. Could be. It lasted 15 minutes? and they just wailed out. I guess someone from an earlier show would have to say. I wonder if they played it the same way, I can't imagine no one mentioning it if they did. Best show I've seen in a while, these guys rocked way harder and longer on the songs than I thought they would. Will was especially awesome. I had only listened to a few streams of the album, and was expecting a much more rootsy and toned down concert.
