Jeff, those are great photos. Now I can see what the others meant when they said it was a good hair night. It's sooooo fluffy.

ericm

Well done Jeff! Great pics.

Excellent call on the Village Pourhouse too.

OK, so it's Friday morning and I finally got some sleep last night.
Still basking in the afterglow of a great night of music with some great friends.

Did anybody end up going to that show in Brooklyn last night? Find out who the special guest was?

(I really had low expectations for this show. A Woodie Gutherie tribute? Yawn.)

Standing 20 feet from the stage, right in the middle,  four great musicians at their best - - one of the great nights of musical surprises in my life. I came to see Yimmy and Jay and left with a great new appreciation of Will and Anders. Powerful. Magical.

here is the NYTIMES review:

"they blew away all traces of mustiness" - - pretty much says it all.

Tired Eyes

I had a great time on Wednesday night.  I had seen all of the musicians before except Anders Parker, who I thought was terrific...as were the other three.  I loved the show and thought all 4 guys were excellent and performed really well together.  Awesome as always to hang out with Brooke, ericm, headhunter, Penny Lane, and tdb810.

my thought(s) exactly.   I'm not sure strolling in when doors open and walking up to the rail will work.

Safe drive down John!

i did not go. after only 4hrs of sleep i was beyond destroyed. i also somewhat wonder if there really was a special guest or if it was just a "oh hey" to get more tickets sold. who knows!

yes, tonight.  current update is raw wind and steady rain.   Should keep all but the Mr Whippys of the world out of the early line.

I'm trying to decide whether this comment makes me feel offended or proud.   :)
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.
