...he was "The Man" w/the llama in Okonokos.  He was a similar character in last year's Unstaged show.  And he showed up in promos for Circuital, as well as the official video for Holdin' on to Black Metal.  He lives in Louisville and I really hope to meet him in person during Forecastle.  He's a nice guy.  Here's his site:

Yep, super nice, funny guy.  He was also in Follow the Train, which is on Jim's label, Removador.  And did the videos for Removador's Solutions.

Hey everyone, first time poster here. I just bought my forecastle tickets and I'm not really sure how I'm going to make it through the next 5 months. This will be my 4th time seeing the boys live. First time at ACL this past year, and 2nd and 3rd at back to back shows in Houston and Dallas this past December. I'm pumped to see MMJ on their home turf. At both shows in December it seemed like the crowds weren't really sure exactly what they were watching and were just unappreciative to the almost divine magic they were watching on stage. Only question I have is, any recommendations on places to stay in Louisville?

Hey PB, welcome.  If you stick with this bunch at Foreastle, you will definitely be surrounded by people appreciateve of what is going down when MMJ hits the stage.    :D

Most of us are staying at the Galt House,  which is very close to the festival.  If you have trouble finding a reservation at a close place, let me know.  I have some other reservations at a Marriott that is also close by.  If you can't find a close place, I could probably transfer that room to your name and you could use it.

Like Mr. Whip said----try for The Galt first--you can't beat that festival price, make sure you go through the Forecastle site or the price just about doubles, if that's sold out, try for any of the other downtown hotels (Marriott) **I think you can still get The Galt because it's huge and it's still early yet...

Definitely the Galt. It's closest and probably the most bad ass hotel here in this fine city. I can't wait guys.
