Holy Crap!  Still not one act I wouldn't want to see.  Yes to add to Fully, someone I really want to see.

Totally thought you said "not one act I would want to see" and was going to agree.   :embarassed:

Do want to see Fully, though, of course.  Oh and MMJ.   :P

oh that's a relief; I thought it was a girl band (seriously) I saw as an opener (not by choice) once but that just made no sense

I've seen some girl band openers with somewhat similar names that were great, but totally different (trying to imitate the Phil Spector thing)

With that said, I think it's a dumb choice in name.

I just went Googling at it was Girls Aloud that I was having a flashback to.   Guess the name isn't that similar but it was so unpleasant I had a momentary panic.   BTW Girls Aloud (I just learned) has sold 8 million records so they aren't chump change I guess.

Even if not chump change, I don't like that name either, so I'll assume it's chump musi

Galactic is effing awesome to see live supposedly they are playing really good right now too. Girl Talk is effing terrible. I dont even mind mash-ups but he mashes up the WORST songs. If he only had better taste in music his stuff would be goos for a late night. Just because he started the whole mashup thing doesnt mean there arent a thousand people better than he is. Shoot my buddy Cam down the road mashes up better stuff than girl talk.

Note - Fully will dance until her knee pops out of the socket and then she will revert to being middle-aged and rather, how should I put it... Well, they don't call me Big Fully for nothing. ::) Also, GT can be quite a fun thing if one is sufficiently in the mood for it. I must say that so far, I'm enjoying all of the clues and none of them have been stinkers.

Also, I hope to see Ruckus recreate that lovely photo of him from Hangout Festival. I may even pose for a similar photo myself ;D

If you're referring to that dude's post on Inforoo, not saying he's not trustworthy, but he did also say Wilco was playing a couple of Louisville shows in March... which they aren't. So, hey, let's hope for the best and not get too disappointed about any M. Ward denial just yet!

Here's hoping we get a couple juicy clues today!

bold992006

I'd love to have Girl Talk there.  His show at Hangout last year was incredible.  He mixes everything from classic hip hop to 90's alternative to Black Sabbath.  It is hard not to have a good time and dance at one of his shows.  He would be a fun addition.

Jon T.

I liked him a lot when I first heard of him.  But, mashups were new to me.  To me it's kind of novelty now.  He's definitely talented in what he does, and there is clearly a  demand for him at festivals, it's just not my thing.  I tried to listen to Feed the Animals again a few months ago and it kind of made dizzy.

Jon T.

That being said, I will be bringing some pacifiers, suckers, glow sticks and Vick's VapoRub in case things get krunk.

Ahhhhhh, VapoRub...those were the days.

Here is the next clue:

Some people are saying it's "Duck Sauce." I have no clue what Duck Sauce is or if it's correct, but that's the word.. A quick google search revelad they have a song called Barbara Streisand. Cage the Elephant has James Brown...

Who knows?

BigHerm

THE FORECASTLE FESTIVAL: For the record, there are THREE acts being hinted in this clue....

Current guess is it's Duck Sauce (Barbara Streisand) Cage the Elephant (James Brown) and MC Chris or Staind (Beetle Juice)

e_wind

Would staind really be at Forecastle?

There is also a person called "figure" who has a song named beetle juice. Apparently he's from Southern Indiana, so that could be it too..
