Seems like Forecastle buzz has died down considerably. I figure we'll get word of the after-shows before any more adds, and I'm hoping we get some after-show info soon. A man's gotta plan!

I can't remember if I posted in here yet, but I have two tix for sale that I bought through the roll call presale.  Cheaper than they are now for anyone that hasn't bought their tickets yet.  Face value, which I think was $225.

Looks like it will be in early May based on when artist submissions are due for the after parties (taken from the forecastle website).

Submissions for Forecastle 2012 are now closed. After-Party and Kick-Off Submissions due by April 30!

How can my band perform at The Forecastle Festival?

Your band can perform by submitting an electronic press kit. Please send yours to music@forecastlefest.com. Please include the name of your band in the subject line. The deadline for Festival submissions has now passed. After-party and kick-off submissions should arrive no later than April 30.

Only online submissions will be accepted, so don't send us snail mail. We're trying to save some trees here people!

When will I hear back?

Selected musicians will be notified by May 1, 2012. You will only hear from us if you've been selected to play.

i was trying to put something together, but it kind of fell by the wayside. i havent talked to amd in a couple weeks, but he and some other bands were going to/still can play at the monkey wrench as a spot for us all to hangout at on thursday night

If the Monkey Wrench falls through we should do it at the BBC Taproom.  It won't be open to public but I can open it up and set up a PA in the brewery.

We can definitely do it at the monkey wrench, but like you said in the beginning, it's easier just to keep it simple, and Dennie wants to keep it simple too. If that's cool with you, it's still all good. My friends funk band would also be playing. In fact since I already asked them to play and Dennie if I could do it there, I feel obligated to keep that happening. However, if you don't think it'd be as good as BBC, let's do it at BBC.
