I am likely going to do some sort of VIP, if I'm making the time and $$ outlay to get there.   But whether that's a full VIP ticket through forecastle, or buy the roll call ticket and get other upgrades later, I still don't know.   I wish I knew what the difference was.   I wish I knew what the costs were.   I wish I knew if there were things like aftershows, MMJ-related, that the roll-call upgrade will have that the general VIP ticket won't.   I wish I knew what the other bands were, to see if I even cared about being near the rail for anything but MMJ.

Most of all, I was hoping to not make irreversable commitments (airfare, roll call tickets) before more details were known, but it seems like this Friday might be when the action starts.   Oh, so I wish I knew how fast things would sell out.

I'm just getting a regular ticket, with the hopes of a VIP upgrade for the Jacket show through Roll Call. Hopefully it'll be for their show, or a Saturday only thing. Don't think I want to spend the $ for the whole fest VIP, unless it's a really good deal.

The email I received did say something about it being offered to "ticketholders. So I'm thinking it'll be offered after the general on sale.  I'm hoping this upgrade is similar to the VIP upgrade they offered to Roll Callers last year for High Sierra. I know MMTubetop did the HS upgrade, and she said it was great and well worth it.
