FWIW, he did in fact have the wholly/holy elbowless black shirt on in Seattle.  And when I met him outside before the show I can confirm that his odor was not offensive.  He smelled just like butterfly wings, rainbows, and cinnamon mixed with sweetpickles.

Rincon: for many women (though certainly not all) attractiveness of a man is not found in his mirror. Remember, it's not the way that he looks, the words he says or the band....

Also, rincon, it's the eyes, the voice, the hair, the artistry, and the sense of humor. And even his lack of care about his clothing just makes women want to take care of him. Plus, have I mentioned that I really have this strange urge to pet the man?   

Mine was sort of a rhetorical post. I just wanted a woman's elaboration, and as a straight male I get it. He is basically a normal looking dude, he just knows how to transcend that.

But thanks anyway for letting us get all fangirl on you. I must say that we do a pretty good job of not being all gushy about this all the time. And for most of us, it isn't the only reason that we love this band. I can't speak for everybody, but that is really a very small part of what brings me here so often and to MMJ's music.

I totally agree with what everyone is saying...I like to play around because it is so easy, of course, to love Jim, but it is equally easy to love all the boys...their hearts, their spirits, their music, their insight...each individual member has taught me something very valuable about music, art and life...and I think that's why you just feel like you know and love them...because they make you feel like you're not just a fan, but rather, a valuable and vital part of an interconnected process of experience.  Plus, I dare you to find a better looking group of fellers anywhere. I will personally poop in your Cocoa Puffs if you disagree with me.      :dankk2:
