The Ramble truly was the best night of my life. I remember everything so vividly -- the campfires and bagpipes in the parking lot, Levon's dog running around in the lake, the smell of the popcorn in the barn, sharing a drink with all the guys (minus Tom). Jim Weider let me play his guitar after the show fer chrissake! It was unreal.

My current finances tremble with fear at the thought of another Ramble with the boys, because there is no way I could ever pass it up.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets giddily excited when I see a Ramble e-mail! I'm not a Mumford & Sons fan, but when I saw them on the last e-mail, it struck me as the biggest "name" they've had there in a while. Hopefully they're gearin' up for another big Ramble soon!

Also, the tribute to Rick and Richard a few months ago is something I sorely, sorely regret that I didn't attend. That setlist looked incredible!

I can't imagine there ever being a better place to see them.  I was there and it was unreal.  I thought the barn was going to fall down during OBH.

My favorite memory was being on the stairs to the right of Levon next to JJ and we talked a little because we had hung out the night before at the hotel bar in Portland, ME and I vividly remember Levon looking over like he was looking right at me, and going "you ready Jimmy?" and next thing I know he's up there singing "It Makes No Difference" which was the highlight of the night for me.

ditto on being there and it being absolutely magical. that said, i don't foresee this happening again .. at least for a long time.

Seems like a perfect way to pass the time a day or two before or after Newport
