Last year, what kinda seats did Roll Call get? Were they assigned, or was it first 20 rows GA kinda thing?

i think we all got GA and then were the first people in; once we were in, they wrist banded the first few rows so we could roam around and not have to worry (they were very strict about who they let back into those first few rows.) thanks to crazylove having a yellow rain jacket and pretending to be security and soulshine's gimp going on, we had mastered the entrance/security issues.

I've still got the boot.

I looked up airline tickets from Ottawa to Denver just to get a sense of how much it would cost to fly in the summer.  The cost came out to over $1000 per person!  We could fly to Europe for the same price.  As such, don't know if we can make this work, but you never know.

Just a tip from a fellow Canadian, when flying to the States, there are some serious benefits to driving across the border first and flying from an American airport.

I'm considering driving to Detroit and flying to Denver from there. Less than $400 per person. Of course, Ottawa to Detroit is quite a drive. But something to think about!

When we went to Louisville in 2010, we drove to Syracuse and flew out of there.  We'll likely have to do that again if we want to make it to Red Rocks.  I quickly did another search, and the price was less than $400 US per person.  So, there's our solution.  Plus, then we'll get to stop at Dinosaur BBQ.  Yum!

id offer to get a spare ticket in case, but if it is multiple nights, i dont think my shitty restaurant job for 15 hours a week can support 300$ of tickets at once. ( I gotta buy 2 already cause my lady)

But wasn't is just the first 24 rows that were like regular "pit" style ga.  I seem to remember there being a definite distinction on whether you had ga in the first 24 or 26 rows than further back.....
