Great news for the LA crowd.  As I wrote on FB, opportunity for the band to play some deep, deep cuts /rarities and covers, especially if they play their average of 23-25 songs per show.

It's so hard to focus on work today.  My first ever live MMJ experience and no repeats.  I'm thinking I might leave work even earlier tomorrow than I originally planned.  Supposing I hit the road at 11am from San Diego I can be in LA by 1pm, check into my hotel, relax for a few hours, then head over for roll call.  I can't wait!!!

First night of a three night stand tomorrow night (9/11) with My Morning Jacket and Portugal. The Man.
Doors- 7pm
Portugal. The Man- 8-9pm
My Morning Jacket- 9:30pm- 12am

Me and LD are hitting the road bright and early tomorrow AM.  6 hour drive from Phoenix to LA, just in time for lunch at Pizzeria Mozza, yum!
