you could see his knee hyper-extend

Understatement of the year...

Terrible, terrible injury.

Eerily similar to the Willis McGahee injury in the OSU/Miami Championsh game, but heard this one is much worse. Sounds like a complete devastation to the knee, and leg.

I have no problems with those lines Trace.  You know I don't mess with college football but I don't see Miss St.  being able to move the ball all game and Bama getting one or two defensive scores late in the game with the lead.
Bama 38-10

Bama won 38-7

and WHY don't you touch college football?

Ha!  I Swung and missed on Notre Dame eh?  I have to tip my hat to them.  They played well on both sides of the ball in a tough environment.  I just didn't understand why the Sooners didn't keep with their uptempo no huddle more often.

well the bcs should be interesting between the Irish, the Ducks and KState.

I feel for Lattimore.  I hope he had an insurance policy a la Mcgahee.

Yeah Lattimore is sad cause this is his second knee injury IIRC and the other one was to his other knee

I think the BCS is going to be crazy this year as KS and Irish will play the tougher schedules so the ducks are going to be way on the outside.

Hmm the new BCS poll is out. SEC has 50% of the Top Ten. The only games they lose is inner-conference games amongst themselves. I still stand by my statement, SEC will win 7 straight National Titles!

PS-Auburn and Arkansas are pure trash and disgraceful this year. Texas A&M is still overrated.

Tracy 2112

BIG games this weekend:

Does LSU upset Bama? I am rooting for LSU but don't see it happening.

Pitt will upset ND; book it

Can Miss. State rebound against A&M? Johnny football comes to Starkville and A&M rolls

Ole Miss gets the afternoon CBS game against UGA. Rebels are trying to become prominent again in the SEC; big test. Hotty Toddy!

Let's hope Oregon hangs 60 on USC.

And can KState continue to roll against OSU?

Where did that SC fan go who was talking so much when the Cocks were undefeated?

There is a likely scenario that the SEC could be shut out of the NC game altogether though.  If LSU beats Alabama tomorrow night, and KSU, ND and Oregon all run the table, I don't see how an SEC team gets into the BCS Championship game.   Geaux Tigers!!!

I'm right here, but we actually have spoken since LSU beat SC.  I was not expecting Florida to do what they did to SC.  It was pretty much over early in the 1st Quarter.  I also would never have picked Georgia over Florida.  South Carolina certainly needs to pick their pass defense up after what Tennessee accomplished in their secondary, especially at our home.  They need a week off.  I saw that next year, SC is playing 12 regular season games and has two bye weeks.  Is that pretty much the norm now?  Their schedule next year is definitely easier than this years.  Now unfortunately, the only thing we have to look forward to is hopefully beating Clemson.  Getting to Atlanta is my only goal.  And for SC to be ranked #8.  I am not sure about that.

Tracy 2112 had the predictions very very accurate.

In my BCS, I have 1. Alabama, 2. Kansas St., 3. Notre Dame, 4. Oregon and 5. Georgia.

Notre Dame and Oregon are interchangable. Oregon has no defense which is customary of Pac 12 teams. It's also a common theme in the Big 12. The offense is really good, but they'd get drastically shut down by Alabama. I hope Texas A&M gets destroyed in Tuscaloosa.

Who does Alabama play in the BCS title game?

I really hope USC beats the shit out of Notre Dame in a couple of weeks (or BC beats them next week). Can you imagine how bad Bama, KSU or Oregon would have rolled Pitt at home?

Last night I kept going back and forth rooting for Bama or LSU (I'm an Ole Miss guy). I really didn't want to see a KSU/NB BCS title game! Glad to see Yeldon (who grew up in Tuscaloosa) get the winning TD, he is going to be a mega star. And seeing Mccaron cry on the sidelines was cool, since he grew up a Bama fan and wanted to QB there since he was 5 growing up in Mobile.

I am very interested in seeing how Bama handles Johnny football next weekend in Tuscaloosa.

What, no thoughts on Division II Mizzou almost upsetting Florida on the road yesterday?

I believe there's a good chance for USC to beat Notre Dame. I hope it doesn't happen though because every year it seems like USC is always ranked preseason top 5 but then they lose to some lesser opponent. They are NOT top five or even ten!

I'm going with Alabama 45 Texas A&M-20 (20 at best)

As for the Florida game, it was simply disgusting. How do you only score twice against Missouri in the swamp?? The gators offense isn't very explosive this year and they lack consistency. I'm not so sure how they'd do if they were to play Kansas St, Notre Dame or Oregon.

Ha!   It already started, believe me!   And we are looking good again this year.    Phil Pressey is more entertaining than the Globetrotters.

I would like to rank all of the SEC schools by adding RPIs in basketball and football and see how it turns out at the end of the year.

Agreed.  The rankings got it right.  I'm guessing you guys read this article or heard about it.

Favorite line, "Police tried to ensure the students identified the correct players by having them look at photo lineups. While none of the alleged victims could recognize all three players, each player was recognized by at least one, including Mitchell who recognized Street from a class they took together on vampires."

Absolute garbage. Of all games to win, Texas A&M manages to beat Alabama. Let's hope the SEC can still make it 7 straight.

Big day for the former Big 12 members!

What a game! Too bad SEC may not go to BCS title game, but I think a couple of Bama fans need to learn how to lose. I am seeing some ridiculousness on social media sites. And Johnny Football can also throw!
