The Sunset Grille is right across from the Agganis.   They have like 100 beers on tap and the place is pretty big...you could walk there from the Marriott in Brookline.

I'm know I'm new here, I hope that's cool with everyone. Right now everything is tentative but my girl and I are definitely interested in 1 room for 2 people in Boston for 2 nights (Dec. 30 & 31). Again, this is tentative.

We have no real hotel preference as long as it's close with a nice restaurant/bar selection.

I'm leaning toward the Courtyard Marriott, too.  I'm already booked for the $209 rate, happy to cancel and re-book for $159.  Proximity is key, some food/bev options nearby, etc...

Aren't there 2 'Courtyard Marriott' hotels listed!?! Which one do you mean..? You know, for stalking purposes.

Ive been lurking around for a bit now and would love to join the group for the 2 nights in Boston.  Dont really have a preference on what hotel as long as its with the group and I get to meet all you lovely people! It would be me and my wife.

I got my tickets for NYE today! Really looking forward to going to Boston for the first time!I had an idea that maybe my wife and I could crash in some of the vacant dorms for cheap at Boston University as all of the students will likely be home for the holidays. Is this a terrible idea?

I bought 2 tickets this morning so my girlfriend and I are definitely going and would love be included in this. 2 nights (30th and 31st). Again no real preference but if we had to choose we would pick #3. Best NYE ever? I say hell yes!

Laura & I are still not sure if we can make this show.  Right now, it's not looking likely    If it turns out we can, we'd be more than happy to go with whatever hotel you guys pick.

Not too late to join.  I need to sign the paperwork and then I will post all the information in a new thread.  But we do have a rate of $149 unofficially (at least until I receive the hard copy).

If people want in, please let me know ASAP so I can block off rooms.  Only those blocked rooms are guaranteed to be at the lower rate. If we exceed the number of blocked rooms, those reserving afterwards won't be guaranteed this rate. Reservations can be cancelled with no penalty. I'll post the cancellation policy once the contract has been signed, but it's generally by 6PM on the day of arrival.
