Tracy, congratulations on a most wonderful life-changing choice.  While I don't post on here a ton, I do read thru the threads quite often and I tend to chuckle quite a bit at many of your posts.  Obviously not this one.
My best friend I've known for 31 years has been clean and sober the last 11.  He went through some dark and heavy times, but emerged, like you, a better person.  I am as happy for you as I am of him!
Pat yourself on the back and definitely go enjoy one of those rib dinners!
