My number one most anticipated album of 2013 comes out tomorrow (Jan 22)

VOIVOD - Target Earth

I am sure most people on here don't care, which is cool with me.

Next week alone is awesome:

Foxygen
Ra Ra Riot
The Joy Formidable
Toro y Moi
Widowspeak

I really like Foxygen after first two listens.  Also digging Widowspeak but only listened to a few tracks so far.  Yo La Tengo - Fade has been the best thing they have done in years.  Starting out to be a good year early

Lunchbox

Hobo Nephews Of Uncle Frank
Pert Near Sandstone
Wayne Hancock
Clutch
Freddie Gibbs/Madlib
Skech185 (hopefully)

The Foxygen album is very, very good.  I'm really enjoying it.

I think Widowspeak's album is excellent.  No sophomore slump for this band.

I agree about Fade - definitely Yo La Tengo's best album in a few years.

so far the last few weeks have been all about the new Josh Ritter and Phosphorescent - Muchacho. But last night I got a hold of the long awaited Houndmouth album!!! WOO!

Played the first 6 of 12 songs on my way to work this morning and loved it! Can't wait til lunch break so I can drive somewhere and play the rest!! The 4 songs from the EP are all on there.

If anyone wants a sneak peek at the new Cold War Kids album "Dear Miss Lonelyhearts".  Even though they are getting poppier <word?> I'm still digging them and looking forward to their show in Philly on 4/12.

What is the story on Polyphonic Spree? I just randomly looked up tripping daisy as I used to be a big fan growing up, and I had no idea about this!!! Pretty cool. Also, I am going to Good Records next time I am in Dallas.

Here it is, in its entirety, our cover of ELO's Telephone Wire

Penny Lane

Jason Isbell. It's incredible (as usual).

My co-worker said Daft Punk was as good as anticipated, too.

I can go to his in store that he's doing at Grimey's the day it comes out. I take it that I should?

For some reason the official launch of the new Daft Punk album was in Wee Waa NSW Australia. I have no idea why.
