okay. So i am staying in manhattan most likely 27-31 dec and going to the 3nite run. I hear I can take grand central to the shows. is this correct? and will i be able to take the metro back after the shows or will it be too late?? also How long is the ride? i need to plan accordingly

parkervb

so seems like you are going to want to take a train from Grand Central to the Port Chester stop

looks like there is a 11:51pm train back to GC arriving at 12:44am (53 minutes)

Don't you ever turn it off

Well this is a come-uppance. I was planning on taking the train after the shows. No way we'll be able to catch that 11:50 unless we leave the show early, which definitely wont be happening!
Any ideas?

I will be driving back to TriBeCa each night, could probably take one Thu., two Friday, and one Sat. if that helps anyone.
Sisyphus - Just rollin' that rock up the hill, and hoping it doesn't crush me on the way back down..

there is also a 12:58 AM to 1:51 AM train.
Thinking I'll probably take that one each night after the show.....oye...its gonna be a looooong week

we're staying in port chester but will be travelling to NYC during the days to do the tourist thing.

how far is the station from the venue, anyone? I figured the shows would be over by 11 or 1130. If that is not the case I'd be down to cab it with some people or hitch a ride back if someone is willing to offer rides. Im headed back to 25th and 3rd Ave in Manhattan. Carlton Arms, What What!?!
