impossible to compile a list for this but "I can't make you love me" by Bonnie Raitt would be up there... there could be some sweet mmj-ing of its r&b vibe...

Bought ELO New World Record in 1976 when it came out. Had not listened to it in YEARS, until the other day. I swear, the whole thing sounded like something MMJ could pull off. Of the dozens of bands that I feel MMJ channel, sometimes better than the band they channel, I never thought of ELO. They could do the whole thing and it would sound very much like the original. A real chance for Bo to show off his skills.Electric Light Orchestra-A New World Record (1976-Full Album)

My stock answer:

Traffic - "Low Spark of high heeled boys"  I mean, can't you just picture them playing this?

bearfansd

Journey- Don't Stop Believin'.  James is probably one of the very few singers who could pull it off.

Thanks Bulldog...it's been a favorite of mine since I was young and I think it's a perfect song for them to cover.

I'm still in Love with you or Dancin' in the Moonlight by Thin Lizzy would probably be phenomenal ... especially if they did extended versions that allowed each to jam!

I'd like to see St. Stephen added to the Grateful Jacket repertoire
some get stoned, some get strange, sooner or later it all gets real.

If they sing Coconut down in Mexico I'll dance topless in a grass skirt like such a silly woman

I think there are a couple of ways.

I usually click on the "share" button under the video. It causes an address to pop up that is highlighted in blue. You just right click on that address and paste it here.

or

You can right click the address of the video in the top address bar to paste, but you will need to delete the "s" on the end of "https" to make it show up on the Forum page. At least that's what I seem to remember johnnYYac saying a while back.

I would love MMJ to cover Warren Zevon at some point.....can you imagine Jim singing Werewolves of London although I am not sure if he would choose that song by Warren but more of lesser known song

BIG fan of Zevon (was actually on the short list of possible names for our son). Wouldn't mind hearing anything he wrote sung by Mr James

Huge fan of Warren as well.  Excitable Boy is in regular rotation at our house.  Two Tone could destroy the bass lines in 'Nighttime it the Switching Yard'.
