It's my dream to hear MMJ cover ANY Talking Heads' song.  The list goes on and on.  Dream Operator would take the cake but Nothing but Flowers or This Must be the Place would probably be the most appropriate for them to pull off.

Yes!!!! Me too!

BTW, I did myself a favor and checked out Built to Spill's Cortez and it is indeed awesome.

Can you keep it simple? Can you let the snare crack? Can you let it move without holding back?

I listened to "Life During Wartime" yesterday, and that song is begging to be played by Jacket.

Have they done this before? If not, I'd really like to see them cover "Super Freak" at Forecastle this year. They can add in an extended jam and absolutely destroy this!

I said it before and will say it again anything from Warren Zevon -  :cheesy:

Jim would kill Werewolves of London...although I feel they would not go for the obvious but take on a lesser known track

any Zevon cover would be incredible..maybe just Jim acoustic with Hasten down the wind or the band doing Carmelita..
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

I'd love for them to add Springsteen's Ghost Of Tom Joad to their covers catalog. I know Morello just kills it, and have seen him, and Bruce do it several times, but Jim is great on this too. I'd love to see him and Carl tear this one up. I think it could be right up their with any of their killer covers.

Jim James/Tom Morello from the MusiCares Springsteen benefit.
