so happy to complete my mmj gigposter collection with this addition...a long 1.5 yr search concluded when i got back from the 3rd and final PC show. saw it on eBay at 104.44 starting price and 124.44 BIN and i had to pull the trigger even tho i really cant afford it after the PC shows. the only two i ever saw on eBay were for $150 by the same seller who had promised me he only had 1.

now i have all 17 gigposters: all 5 from Terminal 5, Bonnaroo 2008, 2011, all 3 PC, Brooklyn 2012, NYE 2008/09, MSG 2011, and 4 2006 PJ posters in which MMJ was the opener

Also have Newsprint Editions of 2008 NYE and 2008 Red Rocks that Burwell thru in with the At Dawn 2010 print after charging $140...all 3 personalized "For Mike" w/T5 print doodled.

nice job man.   I love hearing about other people's poster collections, and I know it's a real thrill when you find one you've been looking for for a while.    There's one on ebay I've been on the hunt for forever!!  I'd say more, but... shhh!!

That's awesome dude. I'm still on the lookout for an MSG poster from the last show they played there....that's my white whale at the moment. That and some of the T5 posters. Glad to hear you got yours even after this time. It's a weird but awesome feeling that not many will really understand.

Also....anyone have a link to the Bonnaroo 2008 poster (to view...at least)? That was my first ever MMJ show and didn't even know about posters at the time haha.

Nice grab on the Bonnaroo Fung, easily my favorite print of his.

Those are tough to find, congrats

So what is the Roo 2011 Fung going for? I have one that i may part with...since my own posters take up so much room I am looking to make some room. It should be in mint condition but i'll check it to make sure. Thanks!

Hey Justin,

I'd say $100-150 is a fair price for that.

Here's the EB price listing

P.S. - if your not on the board over there you should be, lots of artists frequent the site, and it's a great way to track prints and interact with fellow poster nerds.

Olly Moss posted over there the other day saying he wanted to do gig posters, but no one ever asks him.

Haha, yeah i am registered on there...but I rarely visit. Its a bit intimidating as an artist to visit that site....haha I can take it, just a lot to take in sometimes!

bonnaroo 08 was technically my first show...i didnt really know the catalog all that well. I just remembered being amazed at their 2006 performances and a friend was obsessed. the NYE show at MSG was my first fan show. i became a follower at the T5 shows.

by the way, it's so awesome to read your comments. cuz i used to have a problem. it was a real addiction. i've liquidated a lot of stuff i didnt need - mainly art prints - now, i just get the ones from the shows i attend - mainly PJ, DMB, and MMJ...i try not to buy much more cuz they're not seeing any walls anytime soon. i tell myself its a future investment but i gotta stay alive to protect them.  i had to buy a 5-pack of additional pages for my 18x24 book on NYE to house the PC shows, the Cap Theatre Owl Variant from Welker, my Brooklyn DMB poster signed by Boyd Tinsley, and the MMJ Peacock en route from Alabama.

what makes this so rare is Randy never got any prints back from the festival...there was a miscommunication w/the printer company. he never got to sign or # the prints. they went right from the printer to the festival and sold out. i never even knew there was an MMJ poster until they were sold out. i contacted randy and he told me this - i had had a buying relationship with him from the T5 show - i bought one of his personal copies that he had leftover and he even doodled it for me. EMEK and Hampton got obsessed with doodles - he told me it was his first one and I think it came out great. it's a mini version of the apple with devil horns right by his signature in the lower RHC. standup guy!
