Friends again??? Wtf?

There has to be some reason they don't play this song? Does anyone know why they don't? Even on the roll call forum, there is a million requests for it during all 3 nights at pc... Please help me understand why we all love this song and ask for it repeatedly, and it never gets played?

Not sure. I had my own wish I was waiting for. During Port Chester all I wanted to hear was "Our World" - MMJ's contribution to the Muppet Movie soundtrack. Thought it'd be perfect at Port Chester to play the tune from Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas

Definitely would of loved to see that!! And don't get me wrong port Chester was amazing, and I didn't even have time to think about what songs they didn't play until a couple days later. Just staying when they do these special shows... I would like to see some crazy rarities?Or songs that come out of nowhere? Friends again, oxen, by my car, or even muppets version of out of my system, etc? Even though night 2 and 3 rocked, I have to say night 1 was for the faithful! And in such an intimate setting... I would have loved to see more of that.

To me, this song was a shocking omission from the Port Chester run and NYE. Really thought they'd bust out Friends Again. I talked to others around me at the shows and it's clear a lot of people wanted to hear it -- Friends Again WHERE YOU AT?!?! We can only guess why, but it's clear this song is in the dog house for some reason or another.

Yeah tha song fucking rules. I understand that they don't like it enough to put it on Circuital, but they have released it TWICE since then, so obviously it's a good enough song. I've seen it twice and it was rockin both times.

I am not complaining, just commenting. Spontaneous Curation is a joke. They opened up the 3 night Wiltern run with Circuital. It was being built up that fans would request the first song by an informal poll. I doubt anyone voted for that. Having said that, it does not really bother me, because they played the shit out of their catalog. SC just seemed misleading at best, intentionally deceptive at worst.

The only difference is that MMJ has about 10 or less songs they don't really play, whereas most other bands just play their greatest hits and don't stray much from the standard set list. LAME.

This is another reason why I love MMJ.

I thought it was the soundtrack to the new Muppet movie but I forgot it's actually just called "The Green Album" and is a variety of artists covering a muppet song each.
