OK, I know some of you have ponied up the $75 so you can get a tote bag and a keychain to go with your new Jim solo album. I'm proposing a swap. Anyone who doesn't want their tote bag and/or keychain who would like to swap with me for another totebag/keychain combo, let me know. I know some of you have Wilco tote bags (they're highly collectible you know). If anyone has a New Kids on the Block tote, that ish is highly prized.  We'll use this post to  arrange the trades

I currently have 487 tote bags that advertise various school supply companies. I also have several key chains for check cashing businesses and bail bondsmen. If anyone wants to trade their Jim chain or their Jim bag for any or all of them, let me know. I might be willing to do a 239 to 1 trade on that tote bag if you'll handle the shipping.

I was going to sleep, but just had to read this thread and I'm glad I did. Awesome Beth!

I got a Wilco tote bag, bought at the concert, for my 39th bday - not trading it for any pens and keychains, tho
Babe, let's get one thing clear, there's much more stardust when you're near.

LeanneP, this is NOT the pen exchange thread; it is the tote bag/key chain exchange thread. You'll have to start your own pen exchange. I've got a few I might be willing to part with, but it would have to be a pret-ty tempting offer to get me to participate. Perhaps an Andy Rooney pen or a Morley Safer.

NOW DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY FREAKIN' TOTE BAGS AND/OR KEYCHAINS THEY WANT TO TRADE?

I have RSD totes from year one and three. They are my most highly prized limited edition totes. My Wilco tote is off the table because I've had it since YFH, but may consider a trade for something equally rare (first issues Whole Foods?)

I've got a couple of Evil Urges totes. They were free... In other words, overpriced.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Oooh! I have a first edition School Specialty tote! It even has a reinforced bottom. Bottoms are very important in tote bag collections. This bottom is very supple and caressable. One might even call it cupable. The bottom is so strong that that you can tote several large teacher's editions in it without it ripping out. PM me if you are interested in an exchange. I may have a keychain that I can send you to sweeten the deal (Dimebag Darrell's face covered in glitter! Oh yeah!)

I have a First Aid Kit tote bag, it was free. I don't really use it, but I'm pretty fond of it. I don't think I want to exchange it, just wanted to brag about my tote bag a little...

I have a 1963 Please Please Me Beatles tote.  Well, I say tote, but the early ones were in Mono so it's more of a piece of cloth on a strap.

I'd swap this for one of the later Stereo totes that have two sides and that you can actually put stuff in without it falling to the floor.
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

Oh, and my husband has a Lady Gaga keychain that is pretty sweet. It came with the RSD bag and so he may not separate them.

OH! I've also got Eugene Marathon totes from 2009, 2010, 2011.  These are probably actually my most valuable ones since they cost about $100 each.  I had to sign up for a marathon just to get them! (Suckers didn't know that I had no intention of actually running in it!! Year after year. sigh.)

I'd like to add that I do have some Southern Women's Show totes to sweeten any deal that  needs sweetening. There are a few food stains on some of them though. They give out lots of free food samples at that thing which ends up being my meal that day. It takes quite a few thimbles full of tortilla soup samples to fill  me up.

Oh!!!!! I just found a Tennessee Voices for Children keychain in my desk!!!!! Any takers? :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:

Frankly, I think your banning of pens in this exchange is all about fear. This penophobia shall not stand!

Ok, I'll allow you to add pen exchanges in this thread too. It pains me greatly though. Never let it be said that I'm not flexible.

I imagine you'll want to add balls to the exchange, Tater. I'm going to allow the pens though, BUT THAT'S IT!!!
