Well first entry for Dallas went out today so guess Stubbs is out.  Not that it really matters anyway @ that venue.  Where are you guys congregating?  My normal Stubbs spot is on the right side facing the stage under the VIP balcony so I can stand on that ledge by the handicap elevator

I am sadly not going to make the trip from Houston to Austin tonight for the Stubb's show. My tickets are at will call under my name and I need to transfer them into my buddy's name so he and his wife can enjoy the show. Called stubb's which I guess is also front gate tickets and they politely said they can't do anything about it because I ordered the tickets pre-sale through ground ctrl. Was on hold with ground control for 10 minutes on their (877) GND CTRL number. After 10 minutes, a recording said nobody was available. Does anybody have a better number to call to reach someone at ground control that can help me? Thank you!

EDIT: If my buddy just gives them my name at will call will that work? Maybe I can just have him print and bring out my confirmation e-mail?

Hey, JnP!  This situation always sucks ass.  However, in the past folks have sometimes had success bringing a copy of the original purchaser's ID and Credit Card, plus the original order printout and a note permitting the transfer.  I would try them again by phone, but also start a service ticket (nothing ventured, ...).  I'll try to get ground(ctrl) to see your request, but I'm not sure what we can do this late in the day.

What is your policy on will-call name changes?
Unfortunately, we are unable to process will call name change requests.  Per our ticketing policy, "ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Name changes are not allowed." Please review the ground(ctrl) ticketing policy for more information.

Is this a sign that I should bail on my work meeting and make the trip??? Or does this just mean he can give them my name for the tickets?
