Somehow, I'm guessing the venue would have nixed the idea (see Dilllsnufus's camera fiasco), but did anyone see any tapers at the Boston gig?

I know people have taped there before.

This show was so far above what I expected it's not even funny, one of the best I've ever been to. Jim's voice sounded great and the crowd energy was perfect. He took an awesome album and just brought it out of this world with that performance. Makes me want to go to the Northampton show too but I doubt this one will be topped, it was a special night. Loved the encore and Jim had some beautiful words for the crowd and our city. Bravo!!!
his arms were thin, and off into the night they ran

Yeah it was the fifth time I saw JJ - and I had seen him earlier in the week in Toronto. In Boston, they were like a different band with so much more energy and connection and joy. Truly something to behold. The crowd was so receptive from the start and I think that changed the way the band responded. More embellishments, flourish. It truly was a special night and I think the band would agree with that.

On another note, I'm so glad they have been doing MOF songs for the encore. It felt weird to hear another band play MMJ songs - the MOF songs he has been playing are more "his." Losing Yo' Head might be one of my favorite songs to hear live in concert.
